Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung einer Thiazoliumverbindung. Das Hauptpatent betrifft die Herstellung einer durch antineuritische Wirkung aus gezeichneten Pyrimidylalkyltbiazoliumverbin- dung.
Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Thiazo- liumverbindung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 4-Amino-5-jodmethylpyrimidin-hydro- jodid auf 4-Methyl-5-oxyäthylthiazol einwirken lässt. Das so erhältliche Hydrojodid des N- (4'-Aminopyrimidyl - [5'] -methyl)-4-methyl-5- oxyäthyl-thiazoliumjodids bildet ein fast farb loses Pulver vom F. 2400.
Die Verbindung zeigt eine starke antineuritische Wirksamkeit und soll therapeutische Anwendung finden. <I>Beispiel:</I> 4,9 g 4-Amino-5-jodmethyl-pyrimidin-by- drojodid werden mit 3 g 4-Methyl-5-oxyäthyl- thiazol 1/2 Stunde auf 120-130 erhitzt. Die Schmelze wird mit Äther verrührt und das zurückbleibende Pulver mit Alkohol aus gekocht.
Man erhält das Hydrojodid des N- (4'-Aminopyrimidyl- [5'] -methyl)-4-methyl-5- oxyäthyl-thiazoliumjodids als ein fast farb loses Pulver vom F. 240 . Die Verbindung zeigt eine starke antineuritische Wirksamkeit.
Die Pyrimidinkomponente (F.<B>1660)</B> ist erhältlich durch 1/2 atündiges Erhitzen von 1 g 4-Amino-5-oxymethylpyrimidin mit 10 g Jodwasserstoffsäure (1,7) auf 100 .

The present patent relates to a process for the production of a thiazole compound, characterized in that 4-amino-5-iodomethylpyrimidine-hydroiodide is allowed to act on 4-methyl-5-oxyethylthiazole. The thus obtainable hydroiodide of N- (4'-aminopyrimidyl - [5 '] -methyl) -4-methyl-5-oxyethyl-thiazolium iodide forms an almost colorless powder with a temperature of 2400.
The compound shows strong antineuritic activity and is said to find therapeutic use. <I> Example: </I> 4.9 g of 4-amino-5-iodomethyl-pyrimidine-by-iodide are heated to 120-130 for 1/2 hour with 3 g of 4-methyl-5-oxyethylthiazole. The melt is stirred with ether and the powder that remains is boiled off with alcohol.
The hydroiodide of N- (4'-aminopyrimidyl- [5 '] -methyl) -4-methyl-5-oxyethyl-thiazolium iodide is obtained as an almost colorless powder with a melting point of 240. The compound shows strong anti-neuritic activity.
The pyrimidine component (F. <B> 1660) </B> can be obtained by heating 1 g of 4-amino-5-oxymethylpyrimidine with 10 g of hydriodic acid (1.7) to 100 for 1/2 hour.
