Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung einer Thiazoliumverbindung. Das Hauptpatent betrifft die Herstellung einer durch antineuritische Wirkung ausge zeichneten Pyrimidylalkyltbiazoliumverbin- dung.
Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Thiazo- liumverbindung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 2-blethyl-4-amino-5-jodmethyl-pyrimidin- hydrojodid auf 4-Methyl-5-acetogyäthyl-thiazol einwirken lässt. Das so erhältliche Hydrojodid des N-(2'-Methyl-4'-amino-pyrimidyl-[5'] methyl)-4-methyl-5-acetoxyäthyl-thiazolium- jodids bildet Kristalle vom F.<B>215'.</B> Die Verbindung zeigt eine starke antineuritische Wirksamkeit und soll therapeutische Anwen dung finden.
Beispiel: 5 g 2-Methyl-4-amino-5-jodmethyl-pyrimi- din-hydrojodid werden mit 5 g 4-Methyl-5- acetoxyäthyl--thiazol 1/2 Stunde auf 120 bis <B>1300</B> erhitzt. Die Schmelze wird mit Äther verrührt und das zurückbleibende Pulver aus Alkohol und etwas Wasser umkristallisiert. Man erhält das Hydrojodid des N-(2'-Methyl- 4'-amino-pyrimidyl- [5'] -methyl)-4-methyl-5- acetoxyäthyl-thiazoliumjodids in Kristallen vom F. 2150.
Die Verbindung zeigt eine starke antineuritische Wirksamkeit.

The present patent relates to a process for the preparation of a thiazole compound, characterized in that 2-methyl-4-amino-5-iodomethyl-pyrimidine-hydroiodide is allowed to act on 4-methyl-5-acetogyethyl-thiazole. The hydroiodide of N- (2'-methyl-4'-aminopyrimidyl- [5 '] methyl) -4-methyl-5-acetoxyethyl-thiazolium iodide which can be obtained in this way forms crystals of F. <B> 215'. < / B> The compound shows strong anti-neuritic activity and is said to find therapeutic use.
Example: 5 g of 2-methyl-4-amino-5-iodomethyl-pyrimidine hydroiodide are mixed with 5 g of 4-methyl-5-acetoxyethyl thiazole for 1/2 hour to 120 to 1300 heated. The melt is stirred with ether and the remaining powder is recrystallized from alcohol and a little water. The hydroiodide of N- (2'-methyl-4'-aminopyrimidyl- [5 '] -methyl) -4-methyl-5-acetoxyethyl-thiazolium iodide is obtained in crystals with a melting point of 2150.
The compound shows strong anti-neuritic activity.
