Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung einer Aminoverbindung der Chinolinreihe. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Darstellung einer Aminover- bindung der Chinolinreihe, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man die 4-Methylchinolin-2- sulfosäure mit einer wässerigen Lösung von Cyclohexylamin auf höhere Temperaturen er hitzt.
Das so erhaltene neue 2-Cyclohexylamino- 4-methylchinolin bildet fast farblose Prismen vom F. P. 116-117 C. Es soll als Zwischen produkt zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen und pharmazeutischen Produkten Verwendung fin den.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 13 Teile 4-Methylehinolin-2-suifosäure wer den mit 30 Teilen einer wässerigen etwa <B>50</B> o/oigen Lösung von Cyclohexylamin unter Zusatz von 0,3 Teilen Kupferbronze 20 Stun den auf 135-140 o C erhitzt. Das Reak tionsprodukt wird durch Ausschütteln mit Äther als kristalline Substanz erhalten und kann aus Methylalkohol umkristallisiert wer den.

The present patent relates to a process for the preparation of an amino compound of the quinoline series, characterized in that the 4-methylquinoline-2-sulfonic acid is heated to higher temperatures with an aqueous solution of cyclohexylamine.
The new 2-cyclohexylamino-4-methylquinoline obtained in this way forms almost colorless prisms from F. P. 116-117 C. It is said to be used as an intermediate for the manufacture of dyes and pharmaceutical products.
<I> Example: </I> 13 parts of 4-methylehinoline-2-suifoic acid are combined with 30 parts of an aqueous approximately <B> 50 </B>% solution of cyclohexylamine with the addition of 0.3 part of copper bronze for 20 hours heated to 135-140 o C. The reaction product is obtained as a crystalline substance by shaking with ether and can be recrystallized from methyl alcohol.
