Elektrische Heizplatte.
B. Quecksilberthermostat, zur Anwendung kom men.
Electric heating plate. Electric heating plates with a metal plate, under which there is a housing with an electric heater with power connection, in which housing there is a heat-accumulating material, whereby the heating plate, after 'the same has received electricity for some time, remains hot for a long time and so on at any time a place without a power connection can be used, with a second housing around the former, the space between the two housings being filled with a material that does not conduct heat well, are known.
However, these heating plates have the disadvantage that if they are energized for too long, they will overheat and suffer.
The present invention is an electric heating plate that no longer has this part after. .
This electrical heating plate according to the invention with a metal plate, under which a housing is present as an electrical heating element with power connection, in which housing there is heat-accumulating material, whereby the heating plate remains hot for a long time after it has received electricity for some time so it can be used anywhere without a power connection, with a second housing around the former,
where the space between the two housings is filled with a material that does not conduct heat well, it is characterized in that a thermostat is present in the electrical circuit of the radiator, which opens the electrical circuit to the radiator when a fixed temperature is reached, whereby the plate does not can be overheated, and when the temperature drops by a number of degrees closes the circuit again.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown on the accompanying drawing sheet: Fig. 1 shows the electric heating plate in elevation, in section; FIG. 2 shows the same in plan with the electrical circuit diagram and FIG. 3 shows a cross section along the line c-d in FIG. 2.
1 is a metal plate on the underside of which a vessel 3, 3 ', 4 is attached by means of the clamps 2. A second vessel 7, ss is fastened around this vessel by means of the webs 6. Two carrying handles 10 are attached to this vessel (housing). 9 are four spherical feet. In the housing wall 3 'are continuously but iso liert two power connection bolts 5 and 5' be strengthened by the same. 15 is a radiator and 12 is a thermostat.
The current curve is evident from Fig. 2: From the plug contact 5 'the current goes to a terminal of the thermostat 12, from here to a metal element 13 which, as shown, does not touch the contact 14 at a certain temperature (maximum temperature) . From the contact 14 the current goes to the heater 15 and from here back to the plug contact 5. If the temperature drops by a number of degrees, the contact element 13 comes into contact with the con tact 14 and the heating plate is closed because the circuit to the heater is closed is further heated.
16 is a material that does not conduct heat well, for example kieselguhr and slag wool, the outer layer suitably consisting of kieselguhr and the inner layer of slag wool.
The purpose of using these materials is to prevent the heat stored in the inner vessel from escaping to the outside.
17 is the material that stores the heat, e.g. B. a mixture of hochgebrann tem chamotte semolina, purified coke slag, pipe earth and tallow.
These materials fulfill their purpose to a great extent. This means that a relatively short time is sufficient to warm up the heating plate, which heat it then retains for a long enough time.
As a thermostat, a metal, e.g. B. mercury thermostat, used men.
