Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     stickstoffhaltigen    aromatischen Aldehyds.    Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines stick  stoffhaltigen aromatischen Aldehyds. Das  Verfahren     ist    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass  man     N-Chloräthyl-N-methylanilin,        N-Methyl-          formanilid    und     Phosphoroxychlorid    aufein  ander einwirken     lässt.    Der so erhältliche     p-          Chlbrä@thylmethylaminobenzaldehyd    kristal  lisiert in farblosen Prismen vom F. P.<B>70'.</B>  Er soll zur Synthese von Farbstoffen u. a.  dienen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Zu 83 Gewichtsteilen     Phosphoroxychlo-          rid        lä.sst    man bei 40 bis<B>50'</B> 75,5 Gewichts  teile     N-Oxyäthyl-N-methylanilin        zutropfen     und erwärmt hierauf einige Zeit auf etwa  <B>90'.</B> Nach dem Abkühlen tropft man bei 0    langsam eine Mischung von 135 Gewichts  teilen     N-Methylformanilid,    154 Gewichtstei  len     Phosphoroxychlorid    und 100 Gewichtstei  len Benzol zu, erwärmt einige Stunden auf  30 bis 35   und trägt dann die Reaktions  masse auf Eis aus.

   Nach Neutralisieren mit  Natronlauge wird die     benzolische    Lösung des  Aldehyds abgetrennt und     -,it    Wasserdampf    destilliert. Es     hinterbleibt    der     p-Chloräthyl-          methylaminobenzaldehyd    als fast farbloses,  bald erstarrendes 01, welches aus Alkohol in  derben Prismen vom     Schmelzpunkt   <B>70'</B>       kristallisiert.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines stick stoffhaltigen aromatischen Aldehyds, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man N-Chlor- äthyl - N - methylanilin, N-Methylformanilid und Phosphoroxychlorid aufeinander einwir ken lässt. Der so erhältliche p-Chloräthyl- methylaminobenzaldehyd kristallisiert in farblosen Prismen vom F.
