umsetzt, worin.
Beispiel <I>1:</I> f,2 Teile Pz-Chlorogy-l.2-pyrazino- anthmachinon (erhältlich aus Pz-Diogy-1 .
Man erhält denselben Farb stoff in sehr guter Ausbeute.
Den Farbstoff erhält man auch, wenn man an Stelle des Pz-Oxy-amino-1.2-pyrazino- anthrachinons das Pz-Oxy-methylamino-1 . 2 pyrazinoanthrachinon verwendet (herstellbar auf entsprechende Weise durch Verwendung von Methylamin an Stelle von Ammoniak;
gelbrote Nadeln, die in Schwefelsäure mit gelbroter Farbe löslich sind und ein gelbes Sulfat bilden), oder das Pz-Oxy-merkapto- 1 . 2-pyrazinoanthrachinon (herstellbar 'durch Umsetzen von Pz-Chloroxy-1.2-pyrazino- anthrachinon mit alkoholischem Natrium sulfid und Überführung des so erhaltenen Natriummerkaptids in das freie Merkaptan durch Behandeln mit Salzsäure;
rotbraunes Pulver, das sich in Alkohol mit rotvioletter Farbe löst) oder den daraus durch Methylieren mit Dimethylsulfat erhältlichen Thioäther oder das Pz-Oxy-äthoxy-1 . 2-pyrazinoanthra- chinon (beispielsweise erhältlich durch Er hitzen von Pz-Chloroxy,l. 2-pyrazinoanthra- chinon mit alkoholischer Kaliumhydroxyd- lösung;

Process for the production of a liquid dye. According to the main patent, a valuable vat dye is obtained if one m toluidine with a pyrazinoanthraohinone of the structure
EMI0001.0008
implements what. X denotes a residue which is split off during the reaction.
Halogen atoms, Hydrogy 1, mercapto, amino, Al kogy and alkyl mercapto groups, and quaternary ammonium groups, can be used as the removable radicals X.
<B> E </B> s has now been found that you can also use a. valuable vat dye is obtained when the pyrazinoanth @ rachinon described in the main patent is reacted with m-cyananiline.
The reaction can be carried out by heating the compound described above in excess m-cyananiline or by heating the calculated amounts of the reaction participants in a suitable solvent,
for example in the presence of nitrobenzene. The addition of a condensation agent such as zinc chloride, boric acid or an alkali metal bisulfate may be advantageous here.
The new dye dyes cotton from a brown vat in strong, bright red, pungent orange tones that have excellent fastness properties.
Example <I> 1: </I> f, 2 parts of Pz-Chlorogy-1.2-pyrazino-anthmachinon (available from Pz-Diogy-1.
2 pyrazinoanthraquinone by -. Heating with phosphorogychloride in nitrobenzene, yellow-brown needles with a melting point of 2.6, & 'C) are boiled with 1.2 parts of m-cyananiline in 90 parts of nitrobenzene until the evolution of hydrochloric acid has ended.
When the reaction mixture cools, the dye separates out in orange leaves; it is kept pure by suction and steaming.
He dyes cotton from a brown vat in a strong and bright reddish orange. Example <I> 2: </I> 1 () part of Pz-dioxy-1,2-pyrazinoanthraquinone are heated to 180 to 190 ° C with 2 parts of zinc chloride in 50 parts of nitrobenzene, then slowly 10 Parts of m-cyan aniline entered and heated so long,
until no more dioxypyrazinoanthraquinone can be detected. Then you let it cool down, vacuum and work up as described in Example 1. The same dye is obtained in very good yield.
<I> Example 3: </I> A mixture of 10 parts of the Pz-oxyamino-1. 2-pyrazinoanthraquinones (obtainable by introducing ammonia into a solution of Pz-chloroxy-1,2-pyrazinoanthraquinone in nitrobenzene heated to <B> 150'C </B>; red-brown powder that dissolves in sulfuric acid with a brown color and a yellow sulfate forms), 10 parts of m-cyananiline and 30 parts of nitrobenzene are heated to the boil for about an hour. After cooling, the dye that has separated out is suctioned off, washed with alcohol and dried.
The dye is also obtained if, instead of the Pz-oxy-amino-1,2-pyrazino-anthraquinone, the Pz-oxy-methylamino-1. 2 pyrazinoanthraquinone used (can be prepared in a corresponding manner by using methylamine instead of ammonia;
yellow-red needles, which are soluble in sulfuric acid with a yellow-red color and form a yellow sulfate), or the Pz-Oxy-merkapto- 1. 2-pyrazinoanthraquinone (can be produced by reacting Pz-chloroxy-1,2-pyrazinoanthraquinone with alcoholic sodium sulfide and converting the sodium mercaptide thus obtained into the free mercaptan by treatment with hydrochloric acid;
red-brown powder, which dissolves in alcohol with a red-violet color) or the thioether obtained from it by methylation with dimethyl sulfate or the Pz-oxy-ethoxy-1. 2-pyrazinoanthraquinone (obtainable for example by heating Pz-chloroxy, 1,2-pyrazinoanthraquinone with alcoholic potassium hydroxide solution;
yellow needles from glacial acetic acid) or from Pz-Chlorogy-1.2-pyrazinoanthraquinone by gentle heating with pyridine he obtainable pyridinium chloride of the probable composition
