Device comprising a counter-pivot bearing for a timepiece mobile and the support for said bearing. The present invention relates to a device comprising a counter-pivot bearing for a timepiece mobile and the support of said bearing, and having as its aim:
protect the pivot and the bearing against any excessive force. This device is characterized by a removable assembly comprising the pierced part of the bracket and the counter-pivot and shaped so that it can be mounted between at least three elastic arms which protrude inside a ring, which arm are directed from my:
nière that they must bend outward to grip said assembly, and in that the latter is centered by means of the ring relative to the cylindrical wall of a -évide ment made in the support.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the: positive device which is the subject of the invention.
Figs. 1 and 2 show the first in plan views from below and in section following II-II of FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is a partial section along III-III of FIG. 1, showing parts of fig. 2 disassembled. Fig. 4 is a plan view of an isolated detail.
Figs. 5 and 6 show the second embodiment by views respectively in plan and in section on a larger scale along VI-VI -of FIG. 5.
In the examples shown, the device is applied to the lower bearing of a balance and is thus carried by the plate of the frame.
In fig. 1 to 4, a pad 12 is fixed to a removable part 10c and a counter-pivot 13 is separable from this part. This has a cylindrical part 33 by which it is clamped between four internal arms 36 of an annular spring 34 with external pins 35.
Figs. 3 and 4 show this separate spring: from part 10c; we see that these arms must bend outwards so that they can grip the part 33. The er gots 35 are rectified according to the hole of the neck sinet when the part 10th is mounted in the spring, or from the axis of a tool having the same diameter as part 33.
The lugs are rectified so that they enter without play in a cylindrical recess 19 made in the support 18 fixed to the frame.
A spring 20b comprises a central ring from which radiate three arms, the ends of which are engaged in a circular groove 19a formed in the wall of the recess 19. This spring is shaped so that its arms must flex when, the first two having been engaged in the groove, the third is passed through a notch 23 which gives it access to this groove,
so that the spring exerts pressure on the counter-pivot 13 by its central ring.
Spring pressure. 20b creates a friction between the part 10th and the bottom of the recess 19. In the center of this recess, a hole is made in the support 18 so that the shaft 8 of a pendulum pivoted in the bearing passes through this hole with little play, and the underside of a small plate 32 so lidaire of the shaft 8 is adjusted so that its stop against the support 18 limits the axial movement of the tree, during a shock.
It is in fact understood that the elasticity of the springs 20b and 34 allows a displacement of the shaft during an impact directed from top to bottom of FIG. 2 and applied to the shaft 8. During a transverse impact, it is the arms 36 which flex until the shaft abuts in the hole 7.
It can be seen that in all cases the bearing and the counter-pivot move together, so that the ordinary lubrication conditions are not modified by the shocks, the oil being neither spread, nor separated, nor aerated like this is the case when the two parts of the bearing have different movements.
The embodiment of FIGS. 5 and 6 is a variant of the previous one. The spring 20b is omitted, and an annular cap 38 partially covers the free counter-pivot in the part 10d, so that it assembles one to the other with moderate force. In addition, the arms 36 grip the part 10d in a groove or groove 37, in which they have no axial play.
As these arms can also flex parallel to the axis, an axial thrust of the shaft on the counter-pivot drives the entire bearing.
We see in fig. 6 that a washer 40 and screws 39 are used for mounting the arm spring 34a.
The bearing could be made of two parts only, one of the two parts of the bearing that are the counter-pivot and the drilled part having come in one piece with the removable part which is clamped between the arms of the spring,
the other of the two parts being separable from this part in a recess. from which it is adjusted.
