Description

Roulement à billes on à rouleaux.

Ball or roller bearings. The object of the present invention is a ball or roller bearing, in which the inner raceway can perform an axial movement relative to the outer race of said bearing, characterized in that it comprises a cup which holds together by crimping the outer raceway and at least one stop piece limiting in one direction the axial movement of the inner raceway.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, three embodiments of the object of the invention.

In all the figures, similar or similar parts are designated by the same reference numerals.

In fig. 1, the bearing comprises an outer raceway comprising two rings 2 and 2 ', on the inner periphery of which the balls 3 contained in a cage 13 roll. The inner raceway is formed by a cylindrical surface of the shaft 5. This surface is polished so as to provide excellent running and sliding conditions. The clearance between this surface and the balls 3, even if it is reduced to 0.005 mm, easily allows the axial sliding of the shaft 5.

The rings 2 and 2 'are accommodated with the interposition of a wedge 9 in a cup 8 at the same time as an axial stop plate 7'. The rings 2 and 2 ', the wedge 9 and the stop plate 7' are held together in the cup by crimping. The stop plate restricts the axial movement of the shaft in one direction and it could be lined with a counter-pivot stone on which the end of the shaft 5 would rest.

In the example of FIG. 2, the bearing is similar to that shown in fig. 1, the outer raceway of the balls being made in the same way. The stopper plate 6, however, is drilled through its center to allow the shaft 5 to pass and is polished on the 5 'seat side. the shaft 5, a cylindrical part of which constitutes the internal raceway. This bearing 5 'abuts against the plate to limit the axial movement of the shaft.

If the axial pressures received by the shafts are high, the ball bearing shown in fig. 3. The stop limiting the axial movement of the shaft of this bearing comprises a stop piece 70 in the central recess of which balls 11 roll. The outer race is made in the same way as in the bearing of fig. 1, the parts of this path as well as the stop piece 70 and a washer 10 being held together in the cup 8 by crimping.

The washer 10, housed between the outer bearing ring 2 'and the part 70 prevents the balls 11 from coming out of the bearing when the shaft 5 is not in place.

The bush 4, hardened and polished, constitutes the internal raceway. She is hunted on tree 5.
