Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasserlöslichen Nonoazofarbstoffes. Im Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren be schrieben, ,gemäss welchem ein neuer, wasser löslicher, besonders zum Färben von Acetat- 5eide wertvoller Monoazofarbstoff durch Kuppeln von @diazotiertem p-Nitra.nilin mit dem Natriumsa.lz des Phenyltaurins, in wäs seriger Natriumkarbonatlösungerhalten wird.
Gemäss vorliegender Abänderung jenes Verfahrens wird ein wasserlöslicher, beson ders zum Färben von Acetatseide wertvoller Monoazofarbstoff dadurch hergestellt, dass man diazotiertes 2-Chlor-4-nitranilin mit Phenyltaurin kuppelt.
Beispiel: Eine Suspension von 172,5 Teilen 2-Chlor- 4-nitranilin in 11000 Teilen Wasser und<B>1100</B> Teilen 10 % iger Salzsäure wird durch Zu fügen von 69 Teilen Natriumnitrit diazotiert. Die auf 5 C gekühlte Diazolösung wird zu einer eiskalten Lösung von 223 Teilen des Natriumsalzes von Phenyltaurin in 4000 Teilen Wasser, welches 260 Teile Natrium karbonat enthält,
gesetzt. Die Kupplung vollzog sich rasch. Nach ihrer Vollendung erwärmt man das Kupplungsgemisch auf 65 C und sondert den Farlastoff durch Gus- salzen und Filtrieren ab. Der neue Farb stoff bildet ein braunes Pulver, welches mit warmem Wasser eine rötlich-.gelbe, mit kon zentrierter Schwefelsäure eine orangebraune Lösung gibt.
In neutraler, 1 % Salz enthal tender Flotte färbt der neue Farbstoff Acetatseide in orangegelben Tönen.

Example: A suspension of 172.5 parts of 2-chloro-4-nitroaniline in 11,000 parts of water and 1,100 parts of 10% hydrochloric acid is diazotized by adding 69 parts of sodium nitrite. The diazo solution, cooled to 5 C, becomes an ice-cold solution of 223 parts of the sodium salt of phenyltaurine in 4000 parts of water, which contains 260 parts of sodium carbonate,
