Description
verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen, aus einem Carbonsäuremonoamid bestehenden Teatilhilfsstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen, aus einem Carbonsäuremonoamid bestehenden Textilhilfsstoff erhält, wenn man Phthalsäure- i3-sulfonsäure oder ein solches Derivat dersel ben, das durch Behandeln mit einem Amin in ein Carbonsäuremonoamid der Phthalsäure- i3-sulfonsäur6 übergehen kann, mit p-Amino- stearinsäureanilid umsetzt.
Die Umsetzung kann zum Beispiel durch Erhitzen der freien Sulfonsäure bezw. von deren Salzen mit dem Ainin erfolgen, gege benenfalls in Gegenwart von Lösungsmitteln, wie Pyridin, Chinolin, Dimethyl-p-toluidin und dergleichen. Besonders leicht reagiert das Carbonsäureanhydrid oder -chlorid. .Carbon- säureester der I?hthalsäure-p-sulfonsäure las sen sich ebenfalls als Ausgangsstoffe ver wenden.
Der neue Textilhilfsstoff stellt nach dem Neutralisieren und Trocknen ein Pulver dar, das von Wasser zu einer klaren, beim Schüt- teln stark schäumenden Lösung aufgenommen wird.
Der gemäss vorliegendem Verfahren . her zustellende Textilhilfsstoff kann dank seiner kapillaraktiven Eigenschaften beispielsweise als Netz-, Reinigungs-, Wasch-, Dispergier-, Egalisier- und Weichmachungsmittel Verwen dung finden. Der neue Hilfsstoff kann allein oder zusammen mit andern geeigneten Stoffen, wie Lösungsmitteln, Salzen ein- und mehr wertiger Metalle, Seifen oder seifenartigen Stoffen oder Schutzkolloiden verwendet wer den.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Man löst 5 Gewichtsteile R-Sulfophthal- säureanhydrid in der Wärme in 20 Gewichts teilen Pyridin, fügt 5 Gewichtsteile p-Amino- stearinsäureanilid hinzu und erhitzt etwa 1 Stunde im siedenden Wasserbad. Man lässt erkalten, neutralisiert mit Natriumhydroxyd- lösung und verdampft zur Trockne, zweck- mässig unter vermindertem Druck. Man er hält ein Pulver, dessen wässerige Lösung beim Schütteln stark schäumt und das zum Weichmachen von Kunstseide verwendet wer den kann.

<I> Example: </I> Dissolve 5 parts by weight of R-sulfophthalic anhydride in 20 parts by weight of pyridine, add 5 parts by weight of p-aminostearic anilide and heat for about 1 hour in a boiling water bath.
