Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     wasserlöslichen        Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu     wertvol-          len,    wasserlöslichen Farbstoffen gelangt,  wenn man die durch Kuppeln der     Diazover-          bindungen    von     Aminoaryl-mono-    oder     poly-          sulfonsäuren    mit     Metaphenylendiamin    oder  dessen     Substitutionsprodukten    erhältlichen       Diaminoazofarbstoffe    mit     Benzochinonen     durch Oxydation oder Kondensation ver  knüpft.  



  Die erhaltenen braunen Farbstoffe zeich  nen sich durch gute Echtheitseigenschaften  aus und eignen sieh insbesondere zum Fär  ben von Leder, da sie die wertvolle Eigen  schaft haben, beim Färbevorgang tief in das  Leder einzudringen und unter Umständen  den ganzen Kern     des    Leders     mitzufärben.     



       Gegenstand    des vorliegenden Patentes  ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines was  serlöslichen Farbstoffes, welches darin be  steht, dass man den ,durch Kuppeln von       diazotierter        Sulfanilsäure    mit Metaphenylen-         diamin    erhältlichen     Diaminoazofarbstoff    mit       Chlorariil    durch Kondensation verknüpft.  



       Beispiel:     30 Gewichtsteile des     Diaminoazofarb-          stoffes    aus     diazotierter        Sulfanilsäure    und       m-Phenylendiamin    werden in 500 Gewichts  teilen Wasser     unter        Zusatz    von 30     Gewichts-          teilen        calciniertem        Natriumcarbonat    gelöst.

    Zu der gelbroten     Farbstofflösung    werden 13  Gewichtsteile     Chloranil        ,gegeben,    und .das  Gemisch wird während 20     Stunden    am       Rückflusskühler    unter Rühren gekocht. Man  filtriert heiss, fällt die Lauge mit 60 Ge  wichtsteilen roher Salzsäure, saugt den Nie  derschlag ab und stellt     den,    Filterkuchen     mit     10%iger     Natriumcarbonatlösung    alkalisch.  Nach dem Eindampfen werden 32 Gewichts  teile Farbstoff erhalten.  



  Der so erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein  braunes Pulver dar, das in Wasser löslich  ist und Leder tiefbraun einfärbt.

       The subject of the present patent is a process for the preparation of a water-soluble dye, which is to be found in that the diaminoazo dye obtainable by coupling diazotized sulfanilic acid with metaphenylenediamine is linked with chlorariil by condensation.



       Example: 30 parts by weight of the diaminoazo dye from diazotized sulfanilic acid and m-phenylenediamine are dissolved in 500 parts by weight of water with the addition of 30 parts by weight of calcined sodium carbonate.

    13 parts by weight of chloranil are added to the yellow-red dye solution, and the mixture is boiled for 20 hours on the reflux condenser while stirring. It is filtered hot, the lye is precipitated with 60 parts by weight of crude hydrochloric acid, the precipitate is filtered off with suction and the filter cake is made alkaline with 10% strength sodium carbonate solution. After evaporation, 32 parts by weight of dye are obtained.



  The dye obtained in this way is a brown powder which is soluble in water and dyes leather deep brown.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wasser löslichen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeich net, dass man den .durch Kuppeln von diazo- tierter Sulfanilsäure mit Metaphenylendia- min erhältlichen Diaminoazofarbstoff mit Chloranil durch Kondensation verknüpft.
