Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines stark basischen     Azofarbstoües.       Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller,  stark basischer     Farbstoff    entsteht, wenn man  die     Diazoverbindung    des     Pyridacetyl-m-phe-          nylendiamins    mit     Resorcin    kombiniert.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Eine mit 30 kg konzentrierter Salzsäure  versetzte Lösung von 26,35 kg     Pyridacetyl-          m-phenylendiamin    in 150 Liter Wasser wird  mit 6,9 kg     Natriumnitrit    wie üblich diano  tiert. Man stumpft die Mineralsäure mit Na  triumacetat ab, setzt noch weitere 1     "5    kg       Natriumacetat    zu, und lässt in die     Diazo-          lösung    eine konzentrierte wässerige Lösung  von 11 kg     Resorcin    einlaufen.

   Der ausge  schiedene     Farbstoff    wird filtriert und ge  trocknet; er stellt ein rotes Pulver dar, lös-         lich    in Wasser mit gelber, in konzentrierter  Schwefelsäure mit braungelber Farbe.  



  Tannierte Baumwolle und Seide werden  hervorragend waschecht und gut lichtecht  gelbbraun gefärbt; auf Leder ist die Licht  echtheit ausgezeichnet.

The mineral acid is blunted with sodium acetate, a further 1.5 kg of sodium acetate is added, and a concentrated aqueous solution of 11 kg of resorcinol is allowed to run into the diazo solution.

   The separated dye is filtered and dried ge; it is a red powder, soluble in water with a yellow color, in concentrated sulfuric acid with a brownish-yellow color.



  Tanned cotton and silk are extremely washable and dyed yellow-brown with good lightfastness; the lightfastness is excellent on leather.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines stark basischen Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass die Diazoverbindung des Pyrid- acetyl-m-phenylendiamins mit Resorcin ge kuppelt wird. Der Farbstoff ist ein rötliches Pulver, färbt tannierte Baumwolle und Seide hervorragend waschecht und gut lichtecht in gelbbraunen Tönen an; auch die Leder färbungen sind sehr gut lichtecht.
