ilasehine with power drive for processing food ete. The present invention is a power-driven machine for processing food, etc., in which the implements can be switched on and off. The novelty is, according to the invention, that the switching on and off of the working devices of the machine can be made by means of clutches that can be controlled by the feet of the person operating the machine. The operator has both hands free.
In all of the previously known power-driven machines serving your purposes, the tools are switched on and off by means of a hand lever. As the person operating the machine ete when processing food. always has volumes heavily contaminated with the processed material, the handles to be operated are smeared, and the other way around, the food comes.
in contact with fat, oil. These unhygienic facilities are eliminated by the new type according to the invention, the switching off and switching on of the devices. In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is Darge, namely shows: Fig. 1 is a front view of the machine, partly in section, and Fig. 2 is a cross section through the machine Ma.
The machine shown in the drawing is driven by an electric motor. The power supply to the motor 1 is controlled by a push button 2. The same is arranged so that it can be comfortably operated with the knee of the person operating the machine. The push button can also be so deep that it can be adjusted with the feet. From Mo tor 1, the drive goes via pulley 3, belt 4, pulley 5 to an output shaft 6. On this sits an implement of the twin machine Darge presented. From the shaft 6, the drive is passed on to a shaft 9 through the worm 7 and worm wheel 8.
On this shaft 9 sits a second, for example meat, dough or the like processing device. On the working shafts 6, 9 each one of the same with the drive coupling coupling is arranged, which according to the invention can be operated by the worker with his feet.
The coupling seated on the shaft 6 is actuated by the foot by means of a double lever 10 which is pivotably mounted on a shaft; l1 arranged a little above the floor. An upwardly projecting arm 12 and a cam 13 are fixedly connected to the double lever 10. The handlebar 16 is connected to the arm 12 and to another pivotable arm 15, which is fixed to a bolt 14 which is rotatably mounted in the machine frame. A double lever d8 is rotatably mounted around the bolt 17 mounted in the machine frame.
One end of this double lever is connected to a slidable coupling disk which couples the belt pulley 5 to the shaft 16, while the other end runs on a cam by means of an adjusting screw 19, which is fixed on the bolt 14 and when the arm 15 is pivoted with the bolt 14 rotates.
Depending on the direction of rotation of the cam, the lever arm carrying the adjusting screw 19, which rests on the cam, is adjusted to the left or right, whereby the clutch on the shaft 6 is switched on or off. Above the cam 13 of the lever 10 there is a spring-loaded bolt 20 which is pressed against the cam 13 by a spring 2 (1. Since the bolt 20, depending on the set position of the double lever 10, moves one time to the left and the other time to the right sets the cam 13, it locks the cam and thus the double lever 10 in its respective position.
The mode of operation of this device is as follows: If the clutch for the shaft 6, which is drawn in the engaged state, is to be disengaged, the left arm of the double lever 10 in FIG. 1 must be pressed down with the foot. As a result, the connecting rod 16 is shifted to the left, the arm 15 rotates clockwise and the screw 19 runs on the cam which rotates with the bolt 14 in such a way that the clutch disc on the shaft 6 is shifted to the right. In the clutch, a spring, not shown, is provided, which strives to disengage the hitch ment.
Unintentional adjustment of the linkage from the side position corresponding to the engaged position of the clutch is prevented by the above-mentioned spring-loaded bolt 20. In a manner similar to that of the coupling arranged on the shaft 6, the actuation of the coupling seated on the shaft 9 takes place. The same is adjusted by a double lever 22 which is rotatably mounted near the floor in the machine frame and to which an arm 2! 3 is firmly connected. From this arm 23 the movement is transmitted through the connecting rod 24 to an arm 26 (FIG. 2). Arm 26 is firmly connected to shaft 2.5, which is rotatably mounted in the machine frame.
Likewise, the arms 27 engaging in the coupling sit firmly on this shaft. By pivoting the double lever 22 in one direction and the other, the arms 27 are pivoted back and forth. The locking of the double lever 22 in the two pivot positions takes place in turn by a spring-loaded bolt .28 which presses against a cam 29, which in turn is firmly connected to the shaft 30 on which the double lever 222 sits.
A ventila tor 40, which is mounted on a shaft 39, is also arranged on the machine. The drive takes place from the shaft 6 via the belt drive 3.8. On the machine frame, openings, air flaps, etc., which are not shown in the drawing, are provided in a known manner, through which the air in the machine is sucked in, respectively. can be promoted externally.
With this fan 40, the warm air can be removed from the motor housing. This avoids the warm moisture that usually occurs in the motor housing, increases the service life of the motor and significantly reduces the heat that occurs in the machine as a result of friction between the machine parts. In the example shown, the fan and a drive belt pulley for the same form a whole.
Instead of just two devices, more can be arranged in one and the same machine. The machine can be used with particular advantages in the food industry. The clutches could also be controlled by an oil control. It is only essential that the control elements for the control can be operated by the workers' feet.
