Lit. L'invention a pour objet un lit<B>à</B> couchette suspendue présentant un fond plat constitué par un tissu tendu par un cadre.
Le dessin représente,<B>à</B> titre d'exemple, quatre formes d'exécution du lit suivant l'in vention.
La première forme d'exécution se compose d'un bâti en bois (fig. <B>1)</B> et d'une couchette en toile avec cadre en bois<B>( -</B> fig. 2).
Le bâti (fig. <B>1)</B> est construit de quatre planchettes<B>1 à</B> 4 (fig. <B>3),</B> formant deux croix mobiles, et de quatre barres rondes<B>5 à 8</B> mu nies de boulons, de rondelles et d'écrous. Ces barres<B>5 à 8,</B> dont la fig. 4 représente une des extrémités, relient les croix entre elles aux quatre extrémités de celles-ci.
La couchette (fig. 2) comprend une toile rectangulaire<B>9</B> (fig. <B>5)</B> dont les bords longi tudinaux forment les ourlets<B>10</B> et<B>11,</B> ouverts <B>à</B> chaque bout pour laisser passer une des barres<B>à</B> et<B>6,</B> et un cadre 14 (fig. <B>6)</B> pris clans des,fourreaux formés par les replis 12 et<B>13</B> de la toile<B>9.</B> Ces replis 12 et<B>13</B> sont paral lèles aux ourlets<B>10</B> et<B>Il</B> et ont la forme de ceux-ci. Le cadre 14 (fig. <B>6)</B> est formé des barres rondes<B>15</B> et<B>16,
</B> dont la fig. 4 représente une des extrémités et de deuf planchettes<B>17</B> et<B>18</B> (fig. <B>7).</B> Les barres rondes<B>15</B> et<B>16</B> sont plus courtes que les barres<B>5' à 8,</B> de ma nière<B>à</B> ce que le cadre 14 ait la place entre les croix mobiles du bâti.
Le cadre 14 sert<B>à</B> tendre le fond de la couchette.<B>A</B> cet effet, l'écartement des barres<B>15</B> et<B>16</B> est ajusté<B>à</B> la distance entre les replis 12 et<B>13</B> au moyen des planchettes<B>17</B> et<B>18</B> (fig. <B>7).</B> Aux deux côtés sans ourlets de la toile<B>9</B> (fig. <B>5)</B> sont ajoutées les toiles<B>19</B> et 20 (fig. <B>8),</B> de ma nière<B>à</B> donner<B>à</B> la couchette un bord tout autour.<B>k</B> La couchette (fig. 2) est suspendue aux barres<B>à</B> et<B>6</B> par le moyen des ourlets<B>10</B> et <B>Il.</B> De ce fait, elle cherche<B>à,</B> écarter les barres <B>5</B> et<B>6.</B> Par contre, les lacets 21 et 22 (fig. <B>9),
</B> dissimulés dans un ourlet au haut des toiles <B>19</B> et 20 et passant autour des barres<B>à</B> et<B>6</B> retiennent celles-ci.
Dans une seconde forme d'exécution, le lit comporte comme couchette un hamac en filet de construction connue, complété par un cadre pris entre les mailles du hamac de ma nière<B>à</B> donner<B>à</B> celui-ci un fond plat.
Dans une troisième forme d'exécution, les toiles<B>9, 19</B> et 20 de la première forme d'exé- eut-ion sont remplacées par des découpures de peau ou de natte de même forme.
Une quatrième' forme d'exécution est la suivante: Deux cadres<B>23</B> et 24 complètement fermés, en tuyaux métalliquies, forment le bâti (fig. <B>10)</B> du lit. La couchette (fig. <B>11)</B> se compose de la toile<B>25</B> (fig. 12), du cadre <B>28</B> (fig. <B>13)</B> en tuyau métallique, des deux barres en tuyau métallique<B>29</B> et<B>30</B> dont une extrémité est représentée, par la fig. 14, des toile<B>19</B> et<B>'-)0</B> (fig. <B>8)</B> et des lacets 21 et<B>9-9</B> (fig. <B>9).</B>
La toile<B>925</B> a un fond double<B>31</B> pour lais ser passer le cadre<B>28.</B> Ce dernier est un peu plus large au milieu qu'aux deux bouts pour que la traction exercée sur le fond<B>31</B> de la toile<B>25</B> soit plus forte au milieu qu'aux deux bouts. Les barres<B>29</B> et<B>30</B> dépassent les our lets<B>26</B> et<B>27.</B> La barre<B>29</B> a la longueur du cadre<B>23</B> et la barre<B>30</B> celle du cadre 24. Elles passent toutes les deux<B>à</B> l'intérieur des cadres<B>23</B> et 24.
La toile<B>25</B> passe par-dessus le sommet des cadres<B>23</B> et '24 comme le mon tre la fig. <B>Il.</B> Elle exerce une traction essen tiellement horizontale sur les barres<B>29</B> et<B>30</B> par le moyen des ourlets<B>26</B> et<B>'27.</B> Ainsi les barres<B>29</B> et<B>30</B> sont retenues par les montants des cadres<B>23</B> et 24. Pour rendre cette opé ration plus sûre, les barres<B>29</B> et<B>30</B> sont re courbées<B>à</B> chaque extrémité selon la fig. 14. Les toiles<B>19</B> et 20 plus les lacets 21 et<B>22</B> achèvent la couchette (fig. <B>11).</B>
Une cinquième forme d'exécution est cons tituée par deux couchettes analogues<B>à celle</B> de la fig. 2 superposées et placées dans une charpente rigide<B>à</B> montants verticaux. Le fond des couchettes est légèrement incliné grâce au fait que les ourlets longitudinaux, par exemple les ourlets<B>10</B> et<B>11</B> de la toile<B>9,</B> sont plus rapprochés d'un côté que de l'autre tout en restant symétriques par rapport<B>à</B> l'axe<B>de</B> la toile<B>9.</B> La fig. <B>15</B> représente une sixième forme d'exécution dans laquelle le bâti est constitué par un seul tube métallique replié plusieurs fois.
La fig. <B>16</B> représente une variante dans laquelle le bâti est formé de quatre planches dont deux forment le pied et la tête du lit et les deux autres les longerons, sur lesquels sont enfilés les ourlets et qui servent<B>à</B> la fois<B>à</B> suspendre la couchette et<B>à</B> en tendre le tissu du fond. La hauteur des longerons peut être réduite<B>à</B> la limite donnée par égard<B>à</B> la résistance mécanique nécessaire.
Bed. The object of the invention is a bed <B> with </B> suspended bunk having a flat bottom formed by a fabric stretched by a frame.
The drawing represents, <B> to </B> by way of example, four embodiments of the bed according to the invention.
The first embodiment consists of a wooden frame (fig. <B> 1) </B> and a canvas bunk with wooden frame <B> (- </B> fig. 2) .
The frame (fig. <B> 1) </B> is constructed of four boards <B> 1 to </B> 4 (fig. <B> 3), </B> forming two movable crosses, and four <B> 5 to 8 </B> round bars fitted with bolts, washers and nuts. These bars <B> 5 to 8, </B> of which fig. 4 shows one of the ends, connect the crosses to each other at the four ends thereof.
The bunk (fig. 2) comprises a rectangular canvas <B> 9 </B> (fig. <B> 5) </B> whose longitudinal edges form the hems <B> 10 </B> and <B > 11, </B> open <B> at </B> each end to allow one of the bars <B> to </B> and <B> 6, </B> and a frame 14 to pass through (fig. < B> 6) </B> taken from the sheaths formed by the folds 12 and <B> 13 </B> of the fabric <B> 9. </B> These folds 12 and <B> 13 </ B > are parallel to the hems <B> 10 </B> and <B> Il </B> and have the shape of these. The frame 14 (fig. <B> 6) </B> is formed by the round bars <B> 15 </B> and <B> 16,
</B> whose fig. 4 shows one of the ends and two boards <B> 17 </B> and <B> 18 </B> (fig. <B> 7). </B> The round bars <B> 15 </B> and <B> 16 </B> are shorter than bars <B> 5 'to 8, </B> so that frame 14 has space between the movable crosses of the frame.
The frame 14 serves <B> to </B> stretch the bottom of the bunk. <B> A </B> for this purpose, the spacing of the bars <B> 15 </B> and <B> 16 </ B> is adjusted <B> to </B> the distance between the folds 12 and <B> 13 </B> by means of the boards <B> 17 </B> and <B> 18 </B> (fig . <B> 7). </B> To the two sides without hems of the fabric <B> 9 </B> (fig. <B> 5) </B> are added the fabrics <B> 19 </ B > and 20 (fig. <B> 8), </B> in such a way <B> to </B> give <B> to </B> the bunk an edge all around. <B> k </ B > The bunk (fig. 2) is suspended from the bars <B> à </B> and <B> 6 </B> by means of the hems <B> 10 </B> and <B> Il. </ B> As a result, it seeks <B> to, </B> move apart bars <B> 5 </B> and <B> 6. </B> On the other hand, laces 21 and 22 (fig. < B> 9),

In a third embodiment, the fabrics <B> 9, 19 </B> and 20 of the first embodiment are replaced by cutouts of skin or mat of the same shape.
A fourth embodiment is as follows: Two frames <B> 23 </B> and 24 completely closed, in metal pipes, form the frame (fig. <B> 10) </B> of the bed. The bunk (fig. <B> 11) </B> consists of the canvas <B> 25 </B> (fig. 12), the frame <B> 28 </B> (fig. <B> 13 ) </B> in metal pipe, of the two bars in metal pipe <B> 29 </B> and <B> 30 </B>, one end of which is shown in fig. 14, fabrics <B> 19 </B> and <B> '-) 0 </B> (fig. <B> 8) </B> and laces 21 and <B> 9-9 </ B > (fig. <B> 9). </B>
The fabric <B> 925 </B> has a double bottom <B> 31 </B> to allow the frame <B> 28 </B> to pass through. </B> The latter is a little wider in the middle than the two ends so that the traction exerted on the bottom <B> 31 </B> of the fabric <B> 25 </B> is stronger in the middle than at both ends. The bars <B> 29 </B> and <B> 30 </B> exceed the hemlines <B> 26 </B> and <B> 27. </B> The bar <B> 29 </ B > has the length of frame <B> 23 </B> and bar <B> 30 </B> that of frame 24. They both go <B> inside </B> inside frames <B > 23 </B> and 24.
The fabric <B> 25 </B> goes over the top of the frames <B> 23 </B> and '24 as shown in fig. <B> Il. </B> It exerts an essentially horizontal traction on the bars <B> 29 </B> and <B> 30 </B> by means of the hems <B> 26 </B> and <B> '27. </B> Thus the bars <B> 29 </B> and <B> 30 </B> are retained by the uprights of the frames <B> 23 </B> and 24. To make this safer operation, the bars <B> 29 </B> and <B> 30 </B> are bent <B> at </B> each end according to fig. 14. The fabrics <B> 19 </B> and 20 plus the laces 21 and <B> 22 </B> complete the bunk (fig. <B> 11). </B>
A fifth embodiment is constituted by two berths similar <B> to that </B> of FIG. 2 superimposed and placed in a rigid frame <B> with </B> vertical uprights. The bottom of the bunks is slightly inclined thanks to the fact that the longitudinal hems, for example the hems <B> 10 </B> and <B> 11 </B> of the fabric <B> 9, </B> are more brought together on one side than on the other while remaining symmetrical with respect to <B> to </B> the axis <B> of </B> the fabric <B> 9. </B> FIG. <B> 15 </B> represents a sixth embodiment in which the frame is formed by a single metal tube folded several times.
Fig. <B> 16 </B> represents a variant in which the frame is formed of four boards, two of which form the foot and the head of the bed and the other two the side members, on which the hems are threaded and which serve <B> for </B> both <B> </B> suspend the bunk and <B> </B> stretch the bottom fabric. The height of the side members may be reduced <B> to </B> the limit given for the sake of <B> to </B> the necessary mechanical resistance.
