Lit de camp. L'objet de la présente invention est un lit de camp du genre de ceux comprenant un cadre pliable reposant sur des chevalets également pliables. Ce lit est caractérisé par un dossier pliable présentant deux longerons dont les extrémités inférieures peuvent s'en gager chacune dans une fente du cadre.
Le dessin ci-annexé en représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution.

1 est un cadre supporté par trois cheva lets 2 et supportant lui-même un dossier 3. Le cadre est formé par deux longerons 4 et deux traverses 5, chaque longeron étant formé de deux tronçons articulés à une ferrure médiane 6 et portant à son extrémité libre une autre ferrure 7 et présentant en outre un tenon 8 pour les extrémités des traverses 5. Les chevalets sont formés de deux bras 9 articulés en leur milieu et articulés aux lon gerons à l'endroit où ceux-ci portent les fer rures. Une toile est tendue sur le cadre. Le dossier 3 comprend également deux longerons 10 reliés par une traverse supérieure 11, ces pièces étant articulées entre elles en 12 (fig. 7), et étant recouvertes à cet endroit d'une ferrure 13.
Les deux longerons 10 pé nètrent, par leurs extrémités inférieures, dans une fente 14 pratiquée dans une pièce 15 fixée au longeron du cadre. Chacune de ces extré mités (fig. 5 et 6) présente à sa partie posté rieure deux renfoncements 19 et 16 et à sa partie antérieure un renfoncement 17 et un méplat 18. Dans la position représentée en fig. 5, ce sont les renfoncements 19 et 17 qui coopèrent avec les bords postérieurs et antérieurs de la fente de façon que le dossier occupe une position inclinée proche de la verticale. Si l'on dispose le dossier verticale ment, les extrémités des longerons 10 ne coopéreront plus avec les bords de la fente, et l'on pourra séparer facilement le dossier du cadre.
Au lieu de retirer complètement les extrémités de la fente, on peut ne les retirer que partiellement, puis rabattre le dossier. Ce seront alors (fig. 6) le renfonce ment 16 et le méplat 18 qui coopéreront avec la fente et le dossier occupera alors une position peu inclinée par rapport à l'hori zontale.
Le grand avantage de cette forme d'exé cution est de présenter un dossier amovible pouvant occuper deux positions d'emploi suivant que l'on veut être complètement couché ou presque assis.
Cot. The object of the present invention is a camp bed of the kind comprising a foldable frame resting on also foldable easels. This bed is characterized by a foldable backrest having two longitudinal members, the lower ends of which can each engage in a slot in the frame.

1 is a frame supported by three cheva lets 2 and itself supporting a backrest 3. The frame is formed by two side members 4 and two cross members 5, each side member being formed of two sections articulated to a middle bracket 6 and carrying at its end free another fitting 7 and further having a tenon 8 for the ends of the sleepers 5. The trestles are formed of two arms 9 articulated in their middle and articulated to the long gerons at the place where they carry the iron rings. A canvas is stretched over the frame. The backrest 3 also comprises two side members 10 connected by an upper cross member 11, these parts being articulated to each other at 12 (fig. 7), and being covered at this point with a fitting 13.
The two side members 10 enter, via their lower ends, into a slot 14 made in a part 15 fixed to the side member of the frame. Each of these ends (fig. 5 and 6) has at its rear part two recesses 19 and 16 and at its front part a recess 17 and a flat 18. In the position shown in fig. 5, it is the recesses 19 and 17 which cooperate with the rear and front edges of the slot so that the backrest occupies an inclined position close to the vertical. If the backrest is arranged vertically, the ends of the side members 10 will no longer cooperate with the edges of the slot, and the backrest can be easily separated from the frame.
Instead of completely removing the ends of the slot, you can only partially remove them and then fold down the backrest. It will then (fig. 6) the recess 16 and the flat 18 which will cooperate with the slot and the back will then occupy a slightly inclined position relative to the horizontal.
The great advantage of this form of execution is to present a removable backrest which can occupy two positions of use depending on whether one wishes to be completely lying down or almost seated.
