Pendule, sonnant les quarts, comportant un mécanisme muni de deux organes moteurs. L'objet de la présente invention est une pendule sonnant les quarts comportant un mécanisme muni de deux organes moteurs, ca- raetérisée en ce que ledit mécanisme com prend, monté sur l'axe actionnant l'aiguille des minutes, un arbre creux possédant à l'une de ses extrémités une came, et à son autre ex trémité une roue dentée munie d'une cheville susceptible -de buter contre un ergot d'arrêt fixé à un levier claveté;
Dans le mécanisme représenté, l'axe 1, ac tionnant l'aiguille des minutes fixée sur une battue 2, est mis en mouvement, par un poids suspendu à un câble 23' -destiné à s'enrouler sur un cylindre 23, au moyen de la roue -den tée 3, laquelle entraîne également une roue dentée 5 munie d'un disque métallique 6 pou vant, par l'intermédiaire du tronçon de tige 7 et d'un bras coudé 8 limiter l'amplitude de la chute de la crémaillère 9, amplitude qui est en rapport avec le numéro de quart à sonner;
Le levier 15 est pourvu d'un buttoir 20 sus ceptible d'être actionné soit par la came 21, soit par l'une des quatre encoches de la roue 22 clavetée sur l'axe 1; le levier 14; en dépla çant, au moyen du crochet 24, la tige 13, dé gage la cheville d'arrêt 25, ce qui libère la roue 26, laquelle, étant d'une manière connue mise en mouvement par un poids suspendu au cylindre 27, entraîne la roue à. rochet 28;
Pour sonner les heures, la roue 26, en traînant la roue à rochet 2-8, est également commandée par la tige 13 qui déplace le le vier 14, lequel, ainsi que le levier 15 et la pièce coudée 18, est alors actionné par la came 21 :solidaire de l'arbre .creux 46, sur lequel .est montée la roue dentée 47;
Pendulum, striking the quarters, comprising a mechanism fitted with two motor parts. The object of the present invention is a quarter-striking clock comprising a mechanism provided with two motor members, characterized in that said mechanism comprises, mounted on the axis actuating the minute hand, a hollow shaft having to one of its ends a cam, and at its other end a toothed wheel provided with a pin capable of abutting against a stop lug fixed to a keyed lever;
means being provided to actuate the latter and release the aforementioned toothed wheel, the latter then being set in motion by means of a spring fixed, on the one hand, to said hollow shaft, and, on the other hand, to the axis actuating the minute hand; a wheel fixed to said axis, having four notches -and being able, as well as the aforementioned cam, to act on a stopper driving a device cooperating with the. setting in motion of hammers sounding the quarters; means being further provided making it possible to actuate the aforementioned hammers. The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 -en is a front elevation view; Fig. 2 is a rear elevational view; Fig. 3 is a side view of the axis dragging the minute hand, and FIG. 4 is a view of one of the movable pivots to which the hammers are attached; Fig. 5 is a view -de stuffing -of the toothed wheel provided with an ehevillesusceptible to drink ter against a stop rod.
In the mechanism shown, the axis 1, activating the minute hand fixed on a beat 2, is set in motion, by a weight suspended from a cable 23 '- intended to be wound on a cylinder 23, by means of of the wheel -den tee 3, which also drives a toothed wheel 5 provided with a metal disk 6 for vant, through the rod section 7 and a bent arm 8 limit the amplitude of the fall of the rack 9, amplitude which is related to the quarter number to strike;
this movement is controlled by the plate 10, fixed to the arm 11, itself integral with the axis 12 which is actuated by the rod 13, which is moved by the lever 14; the latter is part -du -dispositif comprising a second lever 15, cooperating in the setting in motion of the supports 16 and 17 of the hammers sounding the quarters; said levers 14 and 15, mounted to pivot, are connected by a bent part 18 provided with a counterweight 19.
The lever 15 is provided with a stopper 20 capable of being actuated either by the cam 21, or by one of the four notches of the wheel 22 keyed on the axis 1; the lever 14; by moving, by means of the hook 24, the rod 13, disengages the stop pin 25, which frees the wheel 26, which, being in a known manner set in motion by a weight suspended from the cylinder 27, drives the wheel at. ratchet 28;
the latter then actuates the levers provided with stops 29 and 30 slidably mounted on the pivots 31 and 32. One end of the pivots 31 or 32 is fitted to the frame 33 of the frame of the mechanism, and the other end. on the flange 34; the latter is connected to said frame by the bars 35 and 36 to which the springs 37 and 38 are fixed actuating the supports 16 and 17 of the quarter-striking mortars.
The support 39 @du hammer 40, which strikes the hours, is actuated by the purchased wheel 28, via a lever 41, which lifts the arm 42 which drives the pivot 43, a spring 44, attached to the bar 45 ra leads to its initial position.
To strike the hours, the wheel 26, by dragging the ratchet wheel 2-8, is also controlled by the rod 13 which moves the lever 14, which, together with the lever 15 and the elbow piece 18, is then actuated by the cam 21: integral with the .hollow shaft 46, on which .is mounted the toothed wheel 47;
in fact, the latter, provided with the pin 48 abutting against the stop lug 49 'fixed to the lever 50 keyed on a pin 51, being released at the end of oha- hour, is then actuated as well as the cam 21 by the spring. 52 which strained from the fact that for an hour. its end 53a. rotated with axis 1. Pinion 51 is re-linked by axis 55 to a flywheel, not shown.
The keyed lever 50, releasing at the end of each hour, the wheel 47, is actuated by means of the axis 51 driven by one of the ends of the arm 56, the other end of which can play in one of the notches 57 prati quées in the disc 58 integral with the wheel 59 actuating the toothed wheel 3.
After having made a turn, the pin 48, integral with the wheel 47, abuts against the stopper 49; however, the disc 58, in turn, moves the arm 56 which, through the intermediary of the axis 51, drives the lever 50 in the direction of the arrow 82, so as to release the pin 48 which then comes up against the er got stop 49 '; the latter will be erased in turn when the time is due. ring and that the arm 56, falling in soot from the notches 5 7 will drive the lever 50 in the direction of arrow 83.
While moving, the arm 56 drives, with the aid of the lever 81, the rod 60, which, by the lever 61, the shaft 62, the arm 63, the connecting rod 64 and the part 65, pivot the rod. axis 66; the latter, by turning, actuates parts such as 6 7 sliding the levers provided with stopper 29 and 30, so that the latter are no longer required with the ratchet wheel 28, when it is operated to strike the hour; in addition, the axis 66, by the arms 68 and 70 and by the rod 69, moves the bent arm 8 in the direction of the arrow 71, so that the rod 72.
as well as the rack 9, can fall on the hour snail 73 rotating with the wheel 74, the amplitude of the fall of the pin 72 being in relation to the row of the hour to strike.
The mechanism is placed on a frame comprising two plates 75 and 76 joined by the frames 33, 77, 78, 79 and 80.
