Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     lichtechten        Farbstoffes    der     Chinolinreibe.       Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines lichtechten       Farbstoffes    der     Chinolinreihe,    welches dadurch  gekennzeichnet ist, dass man     2-Methyl-3-oxy-          chinolin-4-eai-bonsäure    mit     Phthalsäureanhy-          drid    kondensiert.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  t300 Gewichtsteile     Phthatsäureanhydrid     werden geschmolzen und dazu unter     Rübren     bei     240-2460    300 Gewichtsteile     2-Methyl-          3-oxycliinolin-4-carbonsäuregegeben    und zirka  1 Stunde nachgerührt. Unter Abspaltung von  Kohlendioxyd und Wasser bildet sich dabei  das     3-Oxychinophthalon,    das leicht rein und  in guter Ausbeute erhalten werden kann. Der  so erhältliche Farbstoff ist mit dem nach dem  Hauptpatent erhältlichen Farbstoff identisch  und kann als     lichtechtei#        Pigmentfarbstoff     und zum Färben von Lacken und Benzin  verwendet werden.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines licht echten Farbstoffes der Chinolinreihe, dadurch gekennzeichnet; dass man 2 - Methyl-3-oxy- chiriolin-4-carbonsäui,e mit Phthalsäureanhy- drid kondensiert. Der so erhältliche Farbstoff ist mit dem nach dem Hauptpatent erhältlichen Farbstoff identisch und kann als lichtechter Pigment farbstoff und zum Färben von Lacken und Benzin verwendet werden.
