      Verfahren    zur Darstellung eines     lichtechten        Farbstoffes    der     Chinolinreihe.       Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines lichtechten  Farbstoffes der     Chinolinreihe,    welches dadurch       gekennzeichnet    ist, dass man     ss-Ogychinaldin     mit     3-Chlorphtbalsäurearihydrid    kondensiert.

    <I>Beispiel:</I>  64 Gewichtsteile     P-Ogychinaldin    werden  mit 80 Gewichtsteilen 3 -     Chlorphthalsäure-          anhydrid    zusammengeschmolzen und etwa       '/2    Stunde auf 220-285' erhitzt, wobei unter  schwachem Schäumen, wie auch bei andern  Schmelzen, etwas Wasser entweicht. Das  dunkelgelbe Reaktionsprodukt wird durch  Sublimation bei ca. 0,5 mm     Hg    und etwa  350   in scharlachroten     Nädelchen    erhalten.  Es schmilzt bei 255   und lässt sich aus Chlor  benzol, Eisessig und andern organischen Lö  sungsmitteln leicht     umkristallisieren.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines licht echten Farbstoffes der Chinolinreihe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man P-Ogychinaldin mit 3-Chlorphtbalsäureanhydrid kondensiert. Der so erhältliche Farbstoff bildet nach Sublimation scharlachrote Nädelchen, die bei <B>2550</B> schmelzen und sich aus Chlorbenzol, Eisessig und andern organischen Lösungsmit teln leicht umkristallisieren lassen.
