Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung von Bz1-Bz3-Diphenylbenzanthron. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung des Bzl- Bz3-Diphenylbenzanthrons, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man Anthron fand Benzyliden- acetophenon der folgenden Formel:

unter Zusatz eines sauren Kondensationsmit tels kondensiert.
<I>Beispiel:</I> In ein 60 warmes Gemisch von 100 Ge wichtsteilen Schwefelsäure von 66 Be, 10 Gewichtsteilen Wasser und 34 Gewichtstei len Eisessig gibt man portionsweise eine Mi schung von 19,4 Gewichtsteilen Anthron und 21 Gewichtsteilen Benzylidenacetophenon und hält auf über<B>60',</B> bis die Benzanthronbil- dung beendet ist. Die Aufarbeitung kann wie im Beispiel .des Hauptpatentes angegeben erfolgen.
Man .erhält auf diese Weise einen in gelben Nadeln kristallisierbaren Körper, der bei 195 bis 196 schmilzt, in konzentrier ter Schwefelsäure sich mit roter Farbe und starker Fluoreszenz löst und welches als Bzl- Bz3-Diphenylbenzanthron anzusprechen ist.
