Description
Process for the preparation of a dye. The subject of the present patent is a process for the preparation of a parbo- stoff, which is characterized in that the 2 mol aminochryses with a melting point of 206-207 C and 1 mol 1,4-benzoquinone by heating in alcohol and by further heating in a high boiling point Solvent-available compound treated with a sulfonating agent.
Example: 10 parts by weight of the dye follow the more likely formula
EMI0001.0010
which, as indicated above, is available who dissolved the monohydrate in 100 parts by weight. At 20-25 °, 100 parts by weight of 20% oleum are allowed to admit and the mixture is stirred for a further hour.
It is poured onto ice and the sulfonic acid which has separated out is filtered off with suction, washed neutral with sodium chloride solution and dried. -The sulfonic acid is soluble in water with a blue color and stains animal, vegetable and synthetic fibers as well as mixed fabrics in greenish blue tones with excellent fastness properties. .
Instead of the oleum, other known sulfonating agents can also be used, and other reaction temperatures can also be selected.
