Description
Floor siphon. The present invention is based on a floor siphon, the flow channel of which is connected to the inlet and outlet and is U-shaped by two guide walls arranged inside the siphon, with a cleaning opening closed by a screw in one of the guide walls, which is accessible from the outside is.
The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, specifically showing: FIG. 1 a longitudinal section through the same, FIG. 2 an end view and FIG. 3 a plan view of the same.
1 is the housing of the bottom siphon provided with an inlet connection 2 and an outlet connection 3. The nozzles 2 and 3 are each provided with an external thread 4. 5 and 6 are the inside of the siphon angeord designated baffles; through which a U-shaped flow channel is created. A collecting space 7 is formed by these guide walls, which do not extend completely to the housing base.
The guide wall 5, which is bent at an angle, has a cleaning opening 9 which is closed by a screw 8 and accessible from the outside. Above the collecting space 7, the siphon has an extension 10 which serves as a support for the adjustable and height-adjustable intake grate 11 which is fastened to an annular frame piece 13 by means of a screw 12. The grate 11 can be removed by loosening the screw 12, which allows easy cleaning of the siphon.
The formation of the grate 11 BEZW. By raising or lowering it, the inlet opening can be precisely adapted to the surface of the soil, which makes it much easier to insert the siphon into the soil. Since the inlet connection 2 is provided with a thread 4, a waste water line, for example a boiler overflow pipe, can be connected directly to the siphon so that it is no longer necessary for the boiler overflow pipe to be led directly onto the grate 11.
After removing the grate 11 of the frame piece 13 screwing a hose line into the extension 10 is possible, whereupon a thorough rinsing of the siphon and the drain line can be made.
If foreign bodies get into the water drain and block the siphon, it can be cleaned very easily and conveniently.
