Description
<I>Beispiel:</I> 16,7 gr 4-Acetylamino-2-phenogyessigsäu- re-1-arsinsäure und 11 gr 2-Pyridon-5-arsin- säure werden in 800 cm' Wasser heiss ge löst.
Ausbeute 20 gr.
Process for preparing an asymmetric arsenobenzene compound. The present invention relates to a method for the preparation of an <I> asymmetric </I> metric arsenobenzene compound, which is characterized in that 4 # acetylino-2-phenoxyacetic acid-1-arsic acid is added together with 2-pyridone-5 -arsinic acid reduced.
The new product is a yellow powder that is clear in water and soluble with a neutral reaction. The solution has the advantage of being durable and both intravenous and subcutaneous, respectively. intramuscular injection to be effective and very well tolerated.
<I> Example: </I> 16.7 g of 4-acetylamino-2-phenogyacetic acid-1-arsic acid and 11 g of 2-pyridone-5-arsic acid are dissolved in 800 cm of hot water. 30 ems 50% hypophosphorous acid and 1 cms hydriodic acid (density 1.7) are added to the <B> 65 '</B> warm solution.
The mixture is kept at 60-700 for an hour, cooled, the yellow precipitate which is clear in sodium bicarbonate is filtered off with suction and washed out with water. The moist substance is brought into solution with 100 cm3 of 60% methyl alcohol and about 12 cubic meters of 3N soda solution, made slightly litmus acid with acetic acid, filtered and stirred into 10 times the amount of alcohol and ether. The precipitate is filtered off and washed with alcohol and ether.
The substance is a yellow powder that is easily and clearly soluble in water, which carbonizes when heated without melting. Yield 20 gr.
