Zeile 37).
Man hat deshalb vorgeschlagen, orga nische Salze der genannten Arsinsäure für den gedachten Zweck zu benutzen, und hat zum Beispiel ein Diäthylaminsalz und ein Diäthylaminäthanolsalz hergestellt;
auch ein Ammoniumsalz wurde beschrieben, das ge nügend löslich sein soll. (Amerikanisches Patent Nr. 1677964.) Zweifellos sind aber Natriumsalze für therapeutische Zwecke, namentlich für Injek tionen, den Ammoniumsalzen und den ausserdem teuren - organischen Aminsalzen vorzuziehen. Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man auf einfachem und billigem Wege ausserordent- lich leichtlösliche Natriumsalze der genann ten Säure, ihrer Homologen;
-Procedure-for the 'representation of a readily soluble INRtrium salt of a. Acylaminophenolar acid. "As is known, p-oxy-m-acetaminobenzolaric acid is used orally; like its previously known sodium salts, it is unsuitable for injections because of its poor solubility (cf., for example, American Patent No. 1,532361, line 30 ).
The potassium and lithium salts dissolve a little more easily, but they are very poisonous and therefore not therapeutically useful (l. C. Line 37).
It has therefore been proposed to use organic salts of said arsic acid for the intended purpose, and for example a diethylamine salt and a diethylamine ethanol salt have been prepared;
an ammonium salt has also been described which is said to be sufficiently soluble. (American Patent No. 1677964.) Undoubtedly, sodium salts are to be preferred for therapeutic purposes, namely for injections, over the ammonium salts and the more expensive organic amine salts. It has now been found that extremely easily soluble sodium salts of the acid mentioned, their homologues, can be obtained in a simple and inexpensive way;
Analogs and isomers are obtained when these acids are dissolved in at least two equivalents of sodium hydroxide solution (in some cases sodium carbonate can also be used). The new sodium salts can be deposited in crystallized form from these solutions by adding alcohol, acetone, common salt, etc. They dissolve in cold water in a ratio of 1: 2 to 1: 3 and are ideally suited for injection purposes.
The present patent relates to a process for the production of a readily soluble sodium salt of an acylamino-phenol arsinic acid, characterized in that p-ozy-m-acetaminobenzene-arsic acid is dissolved in at least two equivalents of sodium hydroxide solution and the new sodium compound is dissolved by addition suitable precipitants such as alcohol, acetone, common salt and the like separates.
The new connection forms fine white needles that dissolve in cold water in a ratio of 1: 2; they are very sparingly soluble in strong alcohol and acetone, insoluble in ether; They can be recrystallized from diluted hot alcohol. When the aqueous solution is acidified, the free acid precipitates in crystals. Example: 2.75 kg of p-oxy-m-acetamino-benzene-arsic acid are added at wt. Temperature dissolved in 10 liters of double normal sodium hydroxide solution, the filtered solution is then mixed with 50 liters of alcohol of 96 percent by volume.
The new compound precipitates in the form of a crystal pulp; they are suctioned off, washed with alcohol and dried.
