  Verfahren zur Gewinnung eines haltbaren Derivates der     Cyclohexenyl-äthyl-          barbitursäure.       Das Hauptpatent betrifft ein Verfahren  zur Gewinnung eines haltbaren Salzes der       Cyclohexenyl-äthyl-barbitursäure,    welches da  durch gekennzeichnet ist,     dass    man die     Cyclo-          hexeiiyl-äthyl-barbitursäure    in Gegenwart von  Alkali mit einer     Caleiumverbindung    in ihr       Calciumsalz    umwandelt, das gegen den     Ein-          fluss    des Lichtes und des Luftsauerstoffes  nicht     mir    sehr beständig,

   sondern darüber  hinaus auch eine schnellere Resorption zeigt.  



  Es wurde nun gefunden,     dass    man die       Cyclohexenyl-äthyl-barbitursäureauchdadurch     in ein haltbares Salz von ähnlichen Eigen  schaften, umwandeln kann, wenn man sie in  Gegenwart von Alkali durch Einwirkung  einer     Lithiumverbindung    in das     cyelohexenyl-          äthyl-barbitLirsaure        Lithium    überführt.  



  Das Endprodukt stellt ein in Wasser       schwerlösliches    weisses Pulver dar, das man  durch Zusatz von starken Säuren in die in  Wasser ebenfalls     schwerlösliche    Cyclohexenyl-         äthyl-barbitursäure,    die nach dem Trocknen  den Schmelzpunkt<B>172 0</B> zeigt,     rückverwandeln     kann.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Eine aus<B>25</B>     Gewichtsteilen        Cyclohexenyl-          äthyl-barbitursäure    und<B>106</B> Gewichtsteilen       n-Natronlauge    bei<B>30 0</B> hergestellte Lösung  wird mit einer Lösung von<B>8,3</B> Gewichts  teilen     Lithiuinehlorid    (2     aq)    in 20 Gewichts  teilen Wasser versetzt und das nach längerem  Stehen ausgeschiedene     Lithiumsalz    der     Cyclo-          hexenyl-äthyl-bai,bitursäure    gewaschen und  im Vakuum     getroknet.
