Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Äthylbenzylanilin-4'-sulfosäure.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man die     Äthyl-          benzylanilin-4'-sulfosäure    in technisch sehr  vorteilhafter Weise durch Kondensation von  1 Mol. benzylchlorid-p-sulfosaurem Natrium  mit 1 Mol. Monoäthylanilin in wässeriger  Lösung darstellen kann. Man erhält eine  Lösung, welche ohne weiteres zur Herstellung  von Farbstoffen verwendet werden kann, oder  aus welcher die Äthylbenzylanilin     4'-sulfo-          säure    nach bekannten Methoden isoliert wer  den kann.  



  Beispiel:  12,1 kg Monoäthylanilin werden in 200  Liter Wasser suspendiert und bei 70   unter  Rühren nacheinander mit 6 kg Soda und    22,5 kg benzylchlorid-p-sulfosaurem Natrium  versetzt. Wenn alles eingetragen ist, wird  während einer Viertelstunde gekocht, wobei  die Umsetzung quantitativ vor sich geht.

It has been found that ethylbenzylaniline-4'-sulfonic acid can be prepared in a technically very advantageous manner by condensation of 1 mol of sodium benzyl chloride-p-sulfonic acid with 1 mol of monoethylaniline in aqueous solution. A solution is obtained which can easily be used for the preparation of dyes, or from which the ethylbenzylaniline 4'-sulfonic acid can be isolated by known methods.



  Example: 12.1 kg of monoethylaniline are suspended in 200 liters of water and 6 kg of soda and 22.5 kg of benzyl chloride-p-sulfonic acid sodium are added one after the other at 70 ° with stirring. When everything has been entered, cooking is carried out for a quarter of an hour, with the conversion proceeding quantitatively.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung voll Äthyl- benzylanilin-4'-sulfosäure, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass 1 Mol. benzylchlorid-p-sulfo- saures Natrium mit 1 Mol. Monoäthylanilin in wässeriger Lösung kondensiert wird. Die erhaltene Lösung kann ohne weiteres zur Herstellung voll Farbstoffen verwendet werden. PATENT CLAIM: Process for the production of fully ethylbenzylaniline-4'-sulfonic acid, characterized in that 1 mol. Benzyl chloride-p-sulfonic acid sodium is condensed with 1 mol. Monoethylaniline in an aqueous solution. The solution obtained can easily be used for the production of dyes.
