Description

       

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen     Thiophenolderivates.       Das vorliegende Verfahren - betrifft die  Darstellung eines neuen     Thioderivates    des  Phenols und ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass  man Phenol zuerst mit     Aeeton    kondensiert  und das erhaltene     Dioxydiphenyldimethylme-          than    mit     Natriumhydroxyd    und Schwefel in  Gegenwart von     Zinnchlorür    erhitzt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Eine Mischung bestehend aus 70 Teilen       pp'-Dioxydiphenyldimethylmethan,    erhalten  durch .Erwärmen von Phenol mit Aceton in  Gegenwart von Salzsäure, 20 Teilen Natrium  hydroxyd, 30 Teilen Schwefel, 15 Teilen       Zinnchlorür    kristallisiert und 100 Teilen  Wasser wird am     Rückflusskühler    unter gutem  Rühren 40 Stunden lang auf     102-10611    C  erhitzt. Die so erhaltene braune Paste wird  in Wasser gelöst, von den unlöslichen Teilen       abfiltriert    und die Lösung im Vakuum ein-    gedampft.

   Man erhält ein wasserlösliches  graugrünes Pulver, welches beizende und  leimfällende Eigenschaften besitzt und zum  Fixieren von basischen Farbstoffen auf Sub  straten und Textilien, wie auch zum Reser  vieren von Wolle gegen das Aufziehen von  Farbstoffen verwendet werden kann.

The brown paste obtained in this way is dissolved in water, the insoluble parts are filtered off and the solution is evaporated in vacuo.

   A water-soluble gray-green powder is obtained, which has acidic and glue-precipitating properties and can be used to fix basic dyes on sub strates and textiles, as well as to reserve wool against the absorption of dyes.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen Thioderivates des Phenols, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man Phenol zuerst mit Aceton kondensiert und das erhaltene Dioxydiphenyl- dimethylinethan mit Natriumhydroxyd und Schwefel in Gegenwart von Zinttchlorür erhitzt. Das neue Produkt stellt ein wasserlös liches graugrünes Pulver dar, welches beizende und leimfällende Eigenschaften besitzt.
