Magneto lighting. The object of the present invention is a lighting magneto of the type of which the casing comprises a case containing the rotor and the stator and closed by a cap carrying the contact roller. This magneto is characterized by a permanent magnet, the base of which is pierced with a central hole, by a rod bringing the current to the armature and on which the magnet is engaged by means of the aforementioned hole, by a bearing practiced on the internal face of the cap con centrically to the axis of the magneto and on which the ends of the branches of the magnet bear, and by an elastic washer, mounted on the aforementioned rod, bearing, on the one hand, on a part fixed and, on the other hand, on the magnet, so as to push the latter against the internal face of the cap.
The appended drawing shows, by way of example, in axial vertical section, an embodiment of the object of the present invention, intended to be mounted on a bicycle or a motorcycle. In this embodiment, the casing is formed by a case 1, in the form of a test tube, enclosing the stator 2 and the rotor 3, and by a cap 4 which is screwed at 5 onto the case and carrying the pressure roller. contact 6. The stator 2 is formed by a permanent magnet, in the form of a bell, having two poles separated by two diametrically opposed longitudinal slots (not visible in the drawing). The base of this magnet is pierced with a central hole 7. 8 is a metal rod bringing the current to the armature 3 forming a tor.
This rod is fixed to the case 1 by means of two nuts 9 and an insulating washer 10 and carries, on the outside of the case, a connection screw 11 and, inside the latter, an elastic washer 12, an insulating washer 13 and a spring piston 14 15 coming into contact with the armature. The insulating washer 13, mounted on the rod 8, is engaged in the hole 7 of the magnet. The ends of the branches of the latter bear on a circular door 16, made on the internal face of the cap, concentrically to the axis of the magneto.
The armature 3 is carried by a rod 17 which can rotate freely in two bearings 18 housed in the cap 4 and receives, at its end, the contact roller 6.
When the magneto is mounted, as shown in the drawing, the elastic washer 12, which bears, on the one hand, on one of the nuts 9, integral with the case 1 and, on the other hand, on the insulating washer 13 of the magnet is compressed and pushes the magnet against the internal face of the cap 4. Thanks to the bearing 16, the magnet is centered with respect to the axis of the magneto.
