Description
Verfahren mir Herstellung eines neuen Fettsäurederivates. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Fett säurederivates, dadurch gekennzeichnet; dass man eine durch Chlorieren von Rizinusölsäure erhältliche Hexaohlorrizinusölsäure mit Na tronlauge im Autoklaven einige Stunden erhitzt.
Das Reaktionsprodukt besitzt stark un gesättigten Charakter und enthält entspre chend der Acetylzahl etwa 2 Hydroxylgrup- pen und nach der Chlorbestimmung noch 1 Chloratom im Molekül gebunden. Es besitzt Seifencharakter und soll als Zwischenprodukt zur Herstellung von Färbereihilfsprodukten Verwendung finden.
Beispiel: 25,5 kg Hexachlorrizinusölsäure werden mit einer Lösung von 16 kg Ätznatron in 75 Liter Wasser etwa 3 Stunden im Auto klaven auf 140--1451 erhitzt. Man erhält eine konzentrierte dunkelgelbe Lösung, aus der die entsprechende Natronseife oder die freie Säure, wie im Hauptpatent angegeben, erhalten werden können.

The reaction product has a strongly unsaturated character and, according to the acetyl number, contains around 2 hydroxyl groups and, according to the chlorine determination, 1 chlorine atom bound in the molecule. It has the character of a soap and is intended to be used as an intermediate product in the manufacture of auxiliary dye products.
Example: 25.5 kg of hexachlororicoleic acid are heated to 140--1451 for about 3 hours in a car with a solution of 16 kg of caustic soda in 75 liters of water. A concentrated dark yellow solution is obtained from which the corresponding sodium soap or the free acid, as indicated in the main patent, can be obtained.
