Description
Ecrou de sûreté. De tous les écrous de sûreté actuellement sur le marché, le système qui se prête le mieux à des applications industrielles est l'écrou dit "à cônes"; ce système présente ce pendant certains défauts, dont les principaux sont les suivants: 1. Les deux pièces composant ces écrous sont indépendantes l'une de l'autre, dans, la plupart des systèmes, ce qui présente certains inconvénients au point de vue du montage et du démontage, surtout lorsque l'emplacement de l'écrou est difficilement accessible; 2.
Dans certains systèmes, les deux piè ces sont assemblées par le moyen. d'une pièce intermédiaire, goupille, clavette, vis, ressort, gorgeon, etc., ce qui occasionne des frais d'usinage hors de proportion; d'autre part, la pièce intermédiaire est sujette à rupture.
La présente invention a pour but d'as surer l'assemblage des -deux pièces de l'écrou sans recours à une pièce intermédiaire, ce qui, au point de vue fabrication, entraîne une grande simplification, tout en assurant un meilleur fonctionnement.
Une. forme d'exécution d'un écrou suivant l'invention est reproduite, à titre d'exemple, sur le dessin annexé.
Cet écrou est composé d'une pièce A dite extensible, maintenue dans une pièce B dite manchon.
Le dispositif qui rend ces deux pièces so lidaires est un sertissage pratiqué au point s, au petit diamètre d du cône de la pièce ex tensible; ce sertissage s'appuie en c à la base du manchon B sur la paroi d'un évidement conique inverse au premier.
Ce sertissage est fait de manière à per mettre un jeu normal pour le bon fonction nement de l'écrou au serrage; il exerce en outre une pression constante entre les deux pièces, afin d'empêcher toute rotation dans l'assemblage.
L'écrou décrit présente les mêmes facili tés de montage et de démontage que l'écrou ordinaire. La pièce extensible .A peut être â pans, comme sur le dessin; ce n'est toutefois pas indispensable, les pans pouvant être suppri més sans inconvénients.

The object of the present invention is to ensure the assembly of the two parts of the nut without resorting to an intermediate part, which, from a manufacturing point of view, results in great simplification, while ensuring better operation.
A. embodiment of a nut according to the invention is reproduced, by way of example, in the accompanying drawing.
This nut is made up of a so-called extensible piece A, held in a so-called sleeve piece B.
The device which makes these two parts together is a crimping performed at point s, at the small diameter d of the cone of the extensible part; this crimping is supported at c at the base of the sleeve B on the wall of a conical recess opposite to the first.
This crimping is done in such a way as to allow normal play for the proper functioning of the nut when tightening; it also exerts a constant pressure between the two parts, in order to prevent any rotation in the assembly.
The nut described has the same ease of assembly and disassembly as the ordinary nut. The extensible piece .A can be angled, as in the drawing; this is not essential, however, as the sections can be removed without inconvenience.
