Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen wert vollen Küpenfarbstoff erhalten kann,, wenn man Pyranthron in wässeriger Aufschläm- mung mit mindestens 2 Mol. eines bromie- rend wirkenden Mittels behandelt. Man kann hierbei sowohl in Gegenwart als auch in Ab wesenheit von Katalysatoren, zum Beispiel Jod, Eisenchlorid usw., arbeiten.
Es emp fiehlt sich, den bei der Reaktion entstehen den Bromwasserstoff in dem Masse seiner Entstehung zu neutralisieren.
Der Farbstoff, das Bz. Bz'-Dibrompyr- anthron löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefel säure mit blauer Farbe und färbt die pflanz liche Faser aus der kirschroten Küpe in kräftig rotorangen Tönen..
<I>Beispiel</I> 10 Teile einer 10%igen Paste aus Pyr- anthran werden unter Rühren mit 4 Teilen Brom versetzt, worauf man, die Temperatur innerhalb 5 Stunden auf 60 C steigen lässt. Nachdem man noch etwa 3 Stunden lang bei 60 bis 65 C gerührt hat, rührt man die erkaltete Reaktionsmasse in Wasser ein, be freit vom überschüssigen Brom durch Behan deln mit Bisulfitlösung, filtriert und wäscht neutral.
<I>Beispiel 2:</I> 10 Teile einer 10 % igen Paste von Py r- anthron werden mit 4 Teilen Brom verrührt, worauf man innerhalb 5 Stunden die Tem peratur auf 60 C steigert und das Reak tionsgemisch 3 Stunden lang bei 60 bis 65 " C hält. Gleich von Beginn des Erhitzens an lässt man insgesamt 11 Teile einer 17,5 % igen Natronlauge allmählich so zulaufen, dass die Reaktionsmasse dauernd nahezu neutral rea giert und erst am Ende der Reaktion alka lisch wird. Die alkalische Reaktionsmasse verdünnt man nach dem Erkalten mit Was ser, filtriert den Farbstoff ab, wäscht neu tral und trocknet.
