Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines aus einem     Monoazofarbstof    erhaltenen,  färbenden Reaktionsproduktes.         Ewurde    gefunden. dass ein wertvoller,  brauner Farbstoff von noch unbekannter       Konstitution    entsteht, wenn man die Verbin  dung;     3-Nitro-4-amidodiphenylamin-4'-sulfo-          .äure-azo-resorcin    bei Gegenwart von wässe  rigem Ammoniak mit Oxydationsmitteln,       vorzugsweise    mit Luft, behandelt. Der neue  Farbstoff stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar, das  sich in Wasser mit brauner, in konzentrier  ter Schwefelsäure mit schwarzbrauner Farbe  löst.

   Im Gegensatz zum Ausgangsfarbstoff       färbt    er Wolle und Seide kaum mehr an,  dagegen erzeugt er auf Leder ein schönes,       >attes    Braun, dessen Farbton von dem Grade       d,-i-    Oxydation abhängig ist. -Diese Leder  färbungen sind ausgezeichnet durch hervor  ragende Echtheit gegen Licht und     alka-          li#chen        Fettliquor.     



       Beispiel:     Eine Lösung von 24 Teilen des     Monoazo-          farbstoffes    aus 3-Nitro-4-amidodiphenyl-         amin-4'-sulfosäure    und     Resoroin    in 100 bis  150 Teilen Wasser wird mit 30-50 Teilen  Ammoniak von     '-)ü%    versetzt und bei zirka  80   C unter Rühren Luft durchgeleitet. Die  anfänglich braunorange Lösung wird bald  tiefbraun. Die Oxydation ist beendet, wenn  Nuance und Stärke der Lösung sich nicht  mehr ändern, was nach einigen Stunden der  Fall ist. Alsdann wird mit Salzsäure an  gesäuert, mit Kochsalz gefällt, filtriert und  getrocknet. Der Farbstoff kann auch direkt  durch Eindampfen der     ammoniakalischen     Lösung gewonnen werden.

       Example: A solution of 24 parts of the monoazo dye composed of 3-nitro-4-amidodiphenylamine-4'-sulfonic acid and resoroin in 100 to 150 parts of water is mixed with 30-50 parts of ammonia at '-)% and at air passed through about 80 C with stirring. The initially brown-orange solution soon turns deep brown. The oxidation is over when the shade and strength of the solution no longer change, which is the case after a few hours. It is then acidified with hydrochloric acid, precipitated with common salt, filtered and dried. The dye can also be obtained directly by evaporating the ammoniacal solution.
