Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines aus einem Monoazofarbstoff erhaltenen, färbenden Reaktionsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller, brauner Farbstoff von noch unbekannter Konstitution entsteht, wenn man die Ver- bingung 4-Chloranilin-3-sulfosäure-azo-resor- cin bei Gegenwart von wässerigem Am moniak mit. Oxydationsmitteln, vorzugs weise mit Luft behandelt. Der neue Farb stoff stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar, das sich in Wasser mit gelbbrauner, in konzentrier ter Schwefelsäure mit. brauner Farbe löst.
Im Gegensatz zum Ausgangsfarbstoff färbt er \'olle und Seide kaum mehr an, dagegen er zeugt er auf Leder ein schönes, sattes Braun, dessen Farbton von dem Grade der Oxyda tion abhängig ist. Diese Lederfärbungen sind ausgezeichnet durch hervorragende Echtheit gegen Licht und alkalischen Fett liquor.
Beispiel: Eine Lösung von 24 Teilen des 1VIonoazo- farbstoffes aus 4-Chloranilin-3-sulfosäure und R.esorcin in 10U-150 Teilen Wasser wird mit 30-50 Teilen Ammoniak von 20 %ö versetzt und bei zirka<B>80' C</B> unter Rühren Luft durchgeleitet. Die anfänglich gelbe Lösung wird bald tiefbraun. Die Oxydation ist beendet, wenn Nuance und Stärke der Lösung sich nicht. mehr ändern, was nach einigen Stunden der Fall ist.
Alsdann wird mit Salzsäure angesäuert, mit Kochsalz ge fällt, filtriert und getrocknet. Der Farbstoff kann auch direkt durch Eindampfen der ammoniakalisehen Lösung gewonnen werden.
