Nach vorliegender Erfindung gewinnt man  das bisher unbekannte     1-Phenoxy        3-isobuty-          ryloxy-propan,    eine     fruchtigsüss    riechende  farblose Flüssigkeit,       D150    =1. 023,     Kp.sn,m    = 138-141<B>0</B>;  indem man     1-Phenoxy-3-oxy-propan    mit     Iso-          butyrylierungsmitteln    behandelt. Die Ver  bindung soll als     Riechstoff    Verwendung finden.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  1     Mol        1-Pherioxy-3-oxy-propari    wird mit  1     Mol        Isobuttersäure    8 Stunden langsam bis  auf 205   erhitzt, wobei das freiwerdende  Wasser übergeht. Das Reaktionsprodukt  wird neutral gewaschen und im Vakuum  fraktioniert.
