Description
Timepiece whose winding takes place automatically. The object of the present invention is a timepiece the winding of which is carried out automatically by means of a mass animated by a reciprocating movement and which in the direction of its travel winds up the spring. engine. This part is characterized in that this mass, formed by a titi section of the crown, is movable in a circular corridor formed between the movement and the case and which is free over its entire length.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example and schematically, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view; fig. 2 shows a detail.
In the embodiment shown, 1 is the movement and 2 is the case; between these two parts is formed a circular passage 3 free over all its perimeter and in which can move the winding mass 4 formed by a crown section. Rollers (or balls) rolling 5 carried by the latter, at its lower and upper parts, press on the walls of the cou oir. As the latter is free around its entire circumference, row 4 can move 360 in this corridor or even go around it several times in the same direction.
It carries, fixed on it, an arm 6 disposed radially and the inner end of which carries a pawl 7; the latter cooperates with a ratchet 8 carried by the movement and connected in a manner not shown with the barrel. When the mass 4 rotates in one direction, the pawl drags the ratchet 8 while when it rotates in the opposite direction, the pawl slides on the teeth of the ratchet which tends to actuate the latter.
