Hierbei kann man in Gegen  wart von Verdünnungsmitteln,     Katalysätoren     und säurebindenden Mitteln arbeiten.  



  Der neue Farbstoff löst sich in konzen  trierter Schwefelsäure mit violetter Farbe  und liefert auf Baumwolle aus violetter     Küpe     blaugraue bis blauschwarze, hervorragend  echte Färbungen, deren vorzügliche     Wasch-          und        Beuchechtheit    besonders zu erwähnen  ist, und die beim Befeuchten mit Wasser  ihre Farbe nicht ändern. .

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  53,5 Teile     Monobromdibenzanthron    herge  stellt durch     Bromieren    von     Dibenzanthron    in       Chlorsulfonsäure    werden in 1000 Teilen  Nitrobenzol mit 40 Teilen     Natriumacetat,       7 Teilen     Kupferoxyd    und 25 Teilen     1-Amino-          anthrachinon    solange unter Rühren gekocht,  bis die     Farbstoffbildung    beendet ist.
