Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines stickstoffhaltigen Küpenfarbstoffes der Benzanthronreihe. Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpenfarb- stoffes durch Behandlung von Benzoyl-amino- Bz 1, Bz 1'-benzanthronylsulfid mit einem al kalischen Kondensationsmittel,. insbesondere alkoholischem Alkali.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 10 Gewichtsteile des Kondensationspro duktes aus Konobrom-Bz 1, Bz 1'-benzanthro- nylsulfid, erhalten durch Bromierung von Bz 1, Bz 1'-benzanthronylsulfid in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure, und Benzamid werden mit 40-50 Gewichtsteilen Ätzkali und 30 Ge wichtsteilen Äthylalkoholbei 150 verschmolzen bis die Farbstoffbildung beendet ist. Der wie üblich ausgearbeitete Farbstoff ist ein blau schwarzes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grüner Farbe löst.
Die Lösungsfarbe in siedendem Nitrobenzol ist grünblau mit braunroter Fluoreszenz. Der Farbstoff kann nach den üblichen Methoden, zum Beispiel durch Umlösen und fraktionierte Fällung aus konzentrierter Schwefelsäure ge reinigt werden und färbt aus violettblauer Hydrosulfitküpe Baumwolle in blauvioletten Tönen, die beim Behandeln mit verdünnter Hypochloritlösung in ein Marineblau über gehen.

The dye can be purified by the usual methods, for example by redissolving and fractional precipitation from concentrated sulfuric acid and dyes cotton in blue-violet shades from a violet-blue hydrosulfite vat, which turn into a navy blue when treated with dilute hypochlorite solution.
