  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     liüpenfarbstoffes    der     Benzanthronreihe.       Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Küpenfarb-          stoffes    durch Behandlung von     Phenogy-Bz    1,  Bz     1'-benzanthronylsulfid    mit einem alkali  schen Kondensationsmittel, insbesondere al  koholischem Alkali.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  10 Gewichtsteile des Kondensationspro  duktes aus     Monobrom-Bz    1, Bz     V-benzan-          thronylsulfid    erhalten durch     Bromierung    von  Bz 1, Bz     I'-benzanthronylsulfid    in     Chlorsulfon-          säure    und Phenol werden mit 40-50 Ge  wichtsteilen     Ätzkali    und 30 Gewichtsteilen  Äthylalkohol bei 130   verschmolzen, bis die       Farbstoffbildung    beendet ist.

   Der wie üblich  aufgearbeitete Farbstoff ist ein blauschwarzes  Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefel-    säure mit grüner Farbe löst und aus blauer       Hydrosulfitküpe    Baumwolle blauviolett färbt.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpen- farbstoffes der Benzanthronreihe, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass man Phenogy-Bz 1, Bz 1'- benzanthronylsulfid, wie es erhalten werden kann durch Bromieren von Bz 1, Bz 1'-ben- zanthronylsulfid in Chlorsulfonsäure und Kon densation des gebildeten Brom-Bz l'-benzan- thronylsulfid mit Phenol, mit einem alkali schen Kondensationsmittel behandelt.
