  Verfahren zur Darstellung des     Barzumsalzes    der     1-Chlor-3-aminophenyl-2-propionsäure.       Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung  ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung des Barium  salzes der     1-Chlor-3-Aminophenyl-2-propion-          säure    in der Weise, dass man     5-Chlorhydro-          carbostyril    mit     Bariumhydrogyd    bei erhöhter  Temperatur behandelt.  



  Das     Bariumsalz    soll zur Herstellung von  Farbstoffen und pharmazeutischen     Produkten     verwendet werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  3 Gewichtsteile des     5-Chlorhydrocarbo-          styrils    (erhalten nach dem D. R. P. 415096)  vom Schmelzpunkt<B>167-1680</B> werden mit  5     Gewichtsteilen        Bariumhydroxyd    und 30  Teilen Wasser in einem Druckgefäss 12 Stun  den auf etwa<B>150'</B> erhitzt. Der Inhalt des  Gefässes wird mit heissem Wasser verdünnt    und von überschüssigem     Bariumhydroxyd          abfiltriert    und eingedampft, wodurch man das       Bariumsalz    der     1-Chlor-3-aminophenyl-2-pro-          pionsäure    erhält, das in Wasser löslich ist.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung des Barium salzes der 1-Chlor-3-aminophenyl-2-propion- säure, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 5- Chlorhydrocarbostyril mit Bariumhydroxyd bei erhöhter Temperatur behandelt. Das Bariumsalz der Säure ist in. Wasser löslich und zeigt die Diazo- und Kupplungs reaktion.
