Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Schwefelfarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Farbstoff    erhält, wenn man die     Leukover-          bindung    des Indophenols aus     Karbazol    und       Nitrosophenol    in Gegenwart von     Karbanilid     und von     Harnstoff,    gegebenenfalls unter Zu  satz eines Substrates, wie Kochsalz oder  Natriumsulfat, mit Schwefel bei höherer Tem  peratur behandelt.

   Der neue     Farbstoff    bildet  ein dunkelblaues Pulver, gibt mit     Hydrosul-          fit    und Natronlauge eine hellgelbe     Küpe,     aus welcher Baumwolle in wasch-, licht- und  chlorechten, blauen Tönen gefärbt wird.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  27,2 Teile des Indophenols, erhalten durch  Kondensation von     Nitrosophenol    mit     Karba-          zol,    werden in eine konzentrierte Polysulfid  lösung, bestehend aus 29 Teilen kristallisier  tem     Natriumsulfid,    8 Teilen Schwefel, 15 bis  20 Teilen Wasser eingetragen und gerührt,  bis das Indophenol vollständig reduziert ist.

    Sodann gibt man der Masse 12 Teile Schwe  fel, 12 Teile Harnstoff und<B>16</B> Teile     Karba-          nilid    zu, trocknet sie im Vakuum und erhitzt    das zerkleinerte Produkt in einem geeigneten  Ofen auf     185-2000,    und zwar solange, bis  die     Schwefelwasserstoffentwicklung    beendet  ist. Nach dem Erkalten wird das Backgut  fein gemahlen, nacheinander mit verdünnter       Schwefelnatriumlösung    ausgezogen, mit ver  dünnter Salzsäure     gewaschbn    und getrocknet.  Der Farbstoff färbt Baumwolle aus der     Hydro-          sulfitküpe    blau.

   The new dye forms a dark blue powder and, together with hydrosulfate and caustic soda, gives a light yellow vat from which cotton is dyed in wash-, light- and chlorine-fast blue tones.



  <I> Example: </I> 27.2 parts of indophenol, obtained by condensation of nitrosophenol with carbazole, are dissolved in a concentrated polysulphide solution consisting of 29 parts of crystallized sodium sulphide, 8 parts of sulfur and 15 to 20 parts of water registered and stirred until the indophenol is completely reduced.

    Then 12 parts of sulfur, 12 parts of urea and <B> 16 </B> parts of carbanilide are added to the mass, they are dried in a vacuum and the comminuted product is heated to 185-2000 in a suitable oven for as long as until the evolution of hydrogen sulfide has ended. After cooling, the baked goods are finely ground, extracted one after the other with dilute sodium sulphide solution, washed with dilute hydrochloric acid and dried. PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Leukoverbindung des Indophenols aus Karbazol und Nitrosophenol in Gegen wart von Karbanilid und von Harnstoff mit Schwefel bei höherer Temperatur behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkelblaues Pulver, gibt mit Hydrosulfit und Natronlauge eine hellgelbe Küpe, aus welcher Baumwolle in wasch-, licht- und chlorechten, blauen Tönen gefärbt wird.
