Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 105237.         Verfahren    zur Herstellung eines     Schwefelfarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Farbstoff    erhält, wenn man die     Leukover-          bindung    des Indophenols, das erhalten wird  durch     Kondensieren    eines Gemisches von       Carbazol    und     N-Äthylcarbazol    mit     Nitroso-          phenol,    in Gegenwart von     o-Tolylharnstoff     und Harnstoff, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz  eines Substrates, wie Kochsalz oder Natrium  sulfat,

   mit Schwefel bei höherer Temperatur  behandelt. Der neue     Farbstoff    bildet ein  dunkelblaues Pulver, gibt mit     Hydrosulfit     und Natronlauge eine hellgelbe     Küpe,    aus  welcher Baumwolle in wasch-, licht- und  chlorechten, grünblauen Tönen gefärbt wird.

    <I>Beispiel:</I>  28 Teile eines     Indophenols,    das durch  Kondensation einer Mischung von gleichen  Teilen     N-Äthylcarbazol    und     Carbazol    mit       Nitrosophenol    erhalten worden ist, werden  in eine konzentrierte     Polysulfidlösung,    be  stehend aus 29 Teilen kristallisiertem Natrium  sulfid, 8 Teilen Schwefel, 15 bis 20 Teilen    .Wasser eingetragen und gerührt, bis das  Indophenol vollständig reduziert ist.

   Sodann  gibt man der Masse 12 Teile Schwefel,  12 Teile     Harnstoff    und 16 Teile     o-Tolyl-          harnstoff    zu,     trocknetsie    im Vakuum und erhitzt  das zerkleinerte Produkt in einem geeigneten  Ofen auf     185-190 ,    und zwar solange, bis  die     Schwefelwasserstoffentwicklung    beendet  ist. Nach dem Erkalten wird das Backgut  fein gemahlen, nacheinander mit verdünnter       Schwefelnatriumlösung    ausgezogen, mit ver  dünnter Salzsäure gewaschen und getrocknet.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Leukoverbindung des Indophenols, das erhalten wird durch Kondensieren eines Ge misches von Carbazol und N-Äthylearbazol mit Nitrosophenol, in Gegenwart von o-Tolyl- harnstoff und Harnstoff, mit Schwefel bei höherer Temperatur behandelt.
