Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum     Hauptpatent    Nr. 105237.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefelfarbstoffes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen  Farbstoff erhält, wenn man die     Leukover-          bindung    des     Indophenols    aus     Karbazol    und       Nitrosophenol    in Gegenwart von o.     o'-Di-          tolylharnstoff    und gegebenenfalls eines Sub  strates, wie Kochsalz oder Natriumsulfat,  mit Schwefel bei höherer Temperatur behan  delt.

   Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkel  blaues Pulver, gibt mit     Hydrosulfit    und Na  tronlauge eine hellgelbe     Küpe,    aus welcher  Baumwolle in wasch-, licht- und chlorechten,       grünstichig    blauen Tönen gefärbt wird.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  27,2 Teile des Indophenols, erhalten durch  Kondensation von     Nitrosophenol    und     Kar-          bazol,    werden in eine konzentrierte Lösung  von 29 Teilen kristallisiertem     Natriumsulfid     eingetragen und gerührt, bis das     Indophenol     vollständig reduziert ist. Hierauf trocknet  man die ganze Masse und mischt sie sorg  fältig mit 16 Teilen o.     o'-Ditolylharnstoff,     30 Teilen Schwefel und 10 Teilen Kochsalz.  Die so erhaltene Mischung wird nun bei  zirka,<B>180'</B> gebacken, bis die Entwicklung  von Schwefelwasserstoff aufgehört hat.

   Das    erhaltene Produkt wird nach dem Erkalten  fein gemahlen, mit verdünntem Schwefel  natrium, hierauf mit Wasser und endlich,  zwecks Entfernung von geringen Mengen  noch vorhandener organischer Basen, mit  verdünnter Salzsäure ausgewaschen.

   The new dye forms a dark blue powder and, with hydrosulfite and sodium hydroxide solution, gives a light yellow vat from which cotton is dyed in greenish blue tones that are washable, lightfast and chlorine-resistant.



  <I> Example: </I> 27.2 parts of the indophenol, obtained by condensation of nitrosophenol and carbazole, are introduced into a concentrated solution of 29 parts of crystallized sodium sulfide and stirred until the indophenol is completely reduced. The whole mass is then dried and carefully mixed with 16 parts of o. O'-ditolylurea, 30 parts of sulfur and 10 parts of table salt. The mixture obtained in this way is now baked at about <B> 180 '</B> until the evolution of hydrogen sulfide has stopped.

   After cooling, the product obtained is finely ground, washed with dilute sodium sulphide, then with water and finally with dilute hydrochloric acid to remove small amounts of any organic bases still present.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Leukoverbindung des Indophenols aus Karbazol und Nitrosophenol in Gegen wart von o. o'-Ditolylharnstoff mit Schwefel bei höherer Temperatur behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkelblaues Pulver, gibt rAit Hydrosulfit und.Natronlauge eine hellgelbe Küpe, aus welcher Baumwolle in wasch-, liebt- und chlorechten, grünstichig blauen Tönen gefärbt wird.
