An Stelle von Ammoniummolybdat kön nen andere Molybdänsalze, z. B. Natrium- molybdat, treten; ebenso kann die Molybdän- sa@zlösung mit der Natriumphosphatlösung und Salzsäure zuerst für sich gemischt und mit dieser Mischung dann die Fällung des Lacke; bewirkt werden;

Process for the representation of a colored lacquer. It is known that basic dyes, which can also contain acidic groups, can be converted into lacquers by treatment with phosphotungstic acid, phosphomolybdic acid, phosphotungframalybdic acid and similar complex acids, which are considerably more lightfast than the lacquers precipitated by tannin.
It has now been found that a color lacquer of methyl violet is obtained which contains the phosphoric acid residue and the 14Zolybdänäure- residue and which has a violet intuance of great brilliance and excellent authenticity if one holds methyl violet, a compound containing the phosphoric acid residue, and a compound that contains the molybdenum acid residue can act on one another.
In this way, without having to produce the complex molybdenum compound first, a varnish of at least the same lightfastness as with the finished phosphorus molybdenum compound is obtained.
To produce the varnish, for example, one can proceed in such a way that a solution of the methyl violet containing a suitable substrate is made up of solutions of sodium phosphate and ammonium molybdate. are added individually in any order or in a mixture with one another and appropriately acidified. The substrate only serves as a carrier for the corresponding colored lacquer.
You can change the way you work in various ways; For example, the methyl violet phosphoric acid lacquer can be treated with the molybdenum compound afterwards.
Example 1: 20 parts of Sch) are sparged with 10 parts of sulfuric acid clay (18% A1, 03), dissolved in 100 parts of water, made into a paste and successively mixed with 5 parts of calcined soda in 50 parts of water and 12 parts of crystallized Clorbaryum, dissolved in 120 parts of water, are added. The thus obtained substrate of barite and alumina hydrate -I- Blancfixe is washed out in the usual way by filling up with water several times.
The solution of 1 part of methyl violet B extra, in 100 parts of water, is added to this substrate and precipitated by adding: 3 parts of ammonium molybdate, 1:10 dissolved in water, and 0.5 part of sodium phosphate, 1:10 in Dissolved water, the color varnish off. It is best to acidify with \? Parts hydrochloric acid of 20 Be, diluted 1: 1 with water, on.
The colored lacquer is then finished in the usual way.
Instead of ammonium molybdate, other molybdenum salts, e.g. B. sodium molybdate, occur; Likewise, the molybdenum acid solution can first be mixed with the sodium phosphate solution and hydrochloric acid and then the lacquer can be precipitated with this mixture; be effected;
the proportions mentioned in the example, in particular excluding ziv ical molybdenum salt and sodium phosphate, can be varied within wide limits.
