Description
Vei#fahren zur Barstellung eines sieh -von Dibenzantliron ableitenden liüpenfarbstoffes. Gegenstand des Patentes Nr:
116588 ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen Küpenfarbstoffes der Perylenreihe, nach welchem man ein Oxydationsprodukt von Di- benzanthron mit sauren Kondensationsmit teln behandelt und den erhaltenen Körper methyliert. Es ist nun gefunden worden, dass derartige alkylierte Farbstoffe bei der Ein wirkung von Oxydationsmitteln in hydroxyl- haltige Verbindungen übergehen, welche al- kylierbar sind und dabei echte,
neue Küpen- farbstoffe liefern.
Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen Küpenfarbstoffes, welches dadurch gekenn zeichnet ist, dass man den nach dem Verfahren des schweiz. Patentes Nr. 116588 erhält lichen Küpenfarbstoff mit Oxydationsmit teln behandelt und das so erhaltene Produkt methyliert.. <I>Beispiel:
</I> 5 Gewichtsteile des nach Patent Nr.116588 durch Behandeln des Oxydationsproduktes von Dibenzanthron mit Chlorzink und dar- auf folgende Methylierung erhaltenen Farb stoffes werden in 150 Gewichtsteilen konzen trierter Schwefelsäure unter Zusatz von \?,5 Gewichtsteilen Borsäure unter Rühren ge löst. In diese Lösung wird eine Aufschwäm- mung von 5 Gewichtsteilen gepulvertem Braunstein in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure eingetragen und 1 Stunde auf zirka<B>60'</B> er wärmt.
Auf Wasser gegossen, abgesaugt und neutral gewaschen, wird diese Paste mit 150 Gewichtsteilen Nitrobenzol verrührt und mit 7 Gewichtsteilen Soda und 7 Gewichts teilen p-Toluolsulfosäuremethylester auf 150 bis<B>160'</B> so lange erhitzt, bis kein unverän dertes Oxydationsprodukt mehr nachweisbar ist; es wird dann noch heiss. abgesaugt. Der aus dem Nitrobenzolfiltrat auf üblichem Wege gewonnene Farbstoff ist ein dunkel grünes Pulver, welches aus blauer Küpe Baumwolle blau färbt; die Farbe geht beim Verhängen in ein leuchtendes Gelbgrün über.
