Cette forme d'exécution comporte une en veloppe a-b, prismatique à bases rectangu laires et divisée par un plan vertical en deux parties a, b réunies par des charnières c. Dans la partie a est logé le mouvement d'horlogerie constitué par un réveil-matin d de construction ordinaire dont le cadran ap paraît dans une ouverture e et qui est main tenu en place par un cadre postérieur f pré sentant une grande ouverture g;
La partieb de l'enveloppe a-b présente intérieurement un support cylindrique l dont l'axe coïncide avec celui de l'arbre à la po sition de fermeture . de l'enveloppe et qui porte une poulie à gorge m folle sur lui; elle est munie de deux chevilles n, o diamètrale- ment opposées, disposées de façon que l'une d'elles soit entraînée par la clé k, lorsque celle-ci tourne au cours de la détente du res sort actionnant le mécanisme réveil-matin. Dans la gorge de la poulie in passe un organe flexible sans fin p, une cordelette par exemple, passant également dans l'une des deux gorges d'une poulie q actionnant un interrupteur r;
Device for actuating a device, controlling an electrical circuit, by a clockwork movement. The object of the invention is a device for actuating a device, controlling an electrical circuit, by a clockwork movement.
It is characterized in that it comprises a rotary member actuating the control device and intended to be driven by a shaft of the clockwork movement, which begins to rotate at a given moment, adjustable at will.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the actuating device.
Fig. 1 is a side elevation thereof, part in section; Fig. 2 is a posterior elevation after removal of certain parts; Fig. 3 is a front view of the device controlling the electrical circuit.
This embodiment comprises a casing a-b, prismatic with rectangular bases and divided by a vertical plane into two parts a, b joined by hinges c. In part a is housed the clock movement consisting of an alarm clock d of ordinary construction, the dial of which appears in an opening e and which is held in place by a rear frame f having a large opening g;
it comprises, as usual, two shafts h, i which serve one, h., for winding the barrel spring actuating the movement, the other, i, for that of the spring actuating the alarm clock mechanism, and rotate in the opposite direction to reassembly as the corresponding springs are released; the shafts h, i are provided with keys j, k rotating around axes perpendicular to theirs, so that they can be folded down on the rear wall of the alarm clock- morning.
The part b of the casing a-b internally has a cylindrical support l whose axis coincides with that of the shaft in the closed position. of the envelope and which carries a crazy groove pulley on it; it is fitted with two pins n, o diametrically opposed, arranged so that one of them is driven by the key k, when the latter turns during the release of the res. spell activating the alarm clock mechanism . In the groove of the pulley in passes an endless flexible member p, a cord for example, also passing through one of the two grooves of a pulley q actuating a switch r;
the latter constitutes the device controlling an electrical circuit and comprises a rotary button s of flattened shape, on which the pulley q is simply threaded, thanks to a rectangular opening made in it.
The operation of the embodiment described is as follows.After opening the casing ab, using the keys j, 1c, the springs actuating the movement and the alarm clock mechanism are raised. , then these keys are folded parallel to the back of the alarm clock; the mechanism is also adjusted in the usual way so that it trips at the desired time.
The envelope a-b is then closed, which brings the pins n, o for example to the position shown in FIG. 1 versus ii, the key k.
At the fixed time, the alarm-clock mechanism is triggered and the shaft i starts to turn as a result of the spring being released; the key k engages with one of the che towns ra, o and makes the pulley in participate in the rotation of the shaft i, so that the lette string p activates the switch 7-, which produces for example l lighting of one or more lamps.
When the button s of this switch has come to the end of its travel, either the cord p slides on the pulleys in, q while the shaft i continues to turn, or else such a slip does not take place and the tree i. stops, unable to overcome the resistance offered by said switch.
The key k drives the pulley m, even if, instead of being folded down parallel to the bottom of the movement, it is left in a perpendicular position b, this bottom. The second groove of the pulley q enables a second switch to be actuated, if necessary.
The switch or switches could produce not an ignition, but an extinction at the desired time. They could control one or more electrical circuits other than lighting circuits. The alarm clock can be replaced by another clockwork movement with a shaft which starts to move at. at a given time, adjustable at will.
