Lighting fixture. Luminaires with a translucent reflector have the drawback of letting too much light shine upwards to the detriment of the surface to be illuminated by the reflected light.
Other devices include metallic reflectors which, because of their opacity, do not allow the filter to be filtered. light, but leave the rear part above them too dark.
The present invention relates to a mixed reflector lighting apparatus comprising a completely opaque reflecting part and a non-opaque part of the tines to allow a certain amount to pass (the light to illuminate the surrounding space thus (read that located behind, above this opaque part.
Preferably, said mixed reflector is combined with a non-opaque cut having a dual function: 1o to fulfill the role of forward diffuser; 20 to return part of the light rays through the non-opaque part provided on the edge of the reflector, to illuminate towards the rear. This invention applies to ordinary ceiling lights, ceiling lights for shop windows, desk lamps, etc., and in general to all fixed or portable devices.
By way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention is shown in the appended drawing, in which: FIG. l is an elevation; Fig. 2 is a view from below; Fig. 3 is a vertical section; Fig. 4 is a theoretical view.
As seen in this drawing, this lighting apparatus comprises a reflector consisting of a bell or lens a of suitable shape behind which is deposited a reflective metallic layer b protected by a layer of copper applied by means of electroplating. , the whole preferably established as stated in Swiss Patent No. 112,768, while reserving the application of reflectors obtained by any other manufacturing process.
Whatever the manufacturing process of the reflector, it only has an opaque reflective layer at the focus or base, while the periphery of the edge is in the non-opaque state, that is to say without layer reflecting health over a certain height thus constituting an annular band a2.
In addition, a non-opaque cut c closes the device in front of the lamp d.
It follows from this. combination that the light rays emitted by the central lamp d of the apparatus are well stopped behind and reflected forwards by the base al of the reflector to pass through, through the cut c forming the diffuser, but more than one by tie of these rays is reflected by the same section so that it passes through said strip a # provided along the edge of this reflector and that it illuminates towards the rear of the device, the whole, as shown schematically in FIG. . 4 of the drawing. The proportions of the opaque reflecting surface h of the reflector and of the non-opaque surface forming a strip a on the edge of the same reflector may vary depending on the applications.
These two parts can also either form a body together or be brought against each other. The method of mounting the equipment of these devices can of course vary according to the applications.
