Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     güpenfarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Küpenfarbstoff    erhält, wenn man     Thionyl-          chlorid    auf     2,5-Di-p#tolüididobenzochinon    ein  wirken lässt. Die Reaktion wird zweckmässig  in Gegenwart von Verdünnungsmitteln, wie  Nitrobenzol, gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart von  säurebindenden Mitteln, durchgeführt. Der  neue Farbstoff bildet ein rotbraunes Pulver,  das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit  blauer Farbe löst und Wolle aus der     Hydro-          sulfitküpe    in rotgelben Nuancen färbt.  



       Beispiel:     8     Teile.2,5-Di-p-toluididobenzochinon    wer  den in 120 Teilen Nitrobenzol kalt mit 9 Tei  len     Thionylchlorid    versetzt und längere Zeit    bei     Zimmertemperatur    gerührt. Hierauf wird  filtriert, mit Alkohol gewaschen und ge  trocknet.

       Example: 8 parts of 2,5-di-p-toluididobenzoquinone are added to 120 parts of cold nitrobenzene with 9 parts of thionyl chloride and the mixture is stirred for a long time at room temperature. It is then filtered, washed with alcohol and dried.

Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein rotbraunes Pulver, das sich in kon zentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe löst und Wolle aus der Hydrosulfitküpe in rotgelben Nuancen färbt.
