Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Küpenfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Küpenfarbstoff erhält, wenn man Thionyl- chlorid (SOC12) auf 2. 5 - Dianilidobenzo- chinon einwirken lässt. Die Reaktion wird zweckmässig in Gegenwart von Verdünnungs mitteln, wie Nitrobenzol, gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart von säurebindenden Mitteln, durchgeführt.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein braunes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit violetter Farbe löst und Wolle aus der Hy dTosulfitküpe in vollen echten braunen Nuancen färbt. Beispiel: 7,2 Teile 2. 5-Dianiliclobenzo@chinon wer den in 1.1-t Teilen Nitrobenzol kalt mit 9 Teilen Thionylchlorid versetzt, nach und nach auf 100 bis 120' erhitzt und drei Stun den gerührt. Nach dem Erkalten wird fil triert und .gewaschen.
Der so erhaltene Farb- stoff besitzt die in der Einleitung beschrie benen Eigenschaften.
Ein sehr ähnliches Produkt erzielt man bei längerem Kochen der Reaktionsmasse. Man kann auch unter Zusatz eines säurebin denden Mittels arbeiten.
