Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Küpenfarbstofes. <B>Es</B> wurde gefunden, da.ss man einen neuen Küpenfarbstoff erhält, wenn man Sehwefel- dichlorid (S C1) auf 2,5-Di-p-toluididobenzo- chinon bei höherer Temperatur einwirken lässt.
Die Reaktion wird zweckmässig in Ge genwart von Verdünnungsmitteln, wie Nitro benzol, gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart von säurebindenden Mitteln, .durchgeführt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkelrotbraunes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefel säure mit sehmutzigblauer Farbe löst und Wolle aus der Hydrosulfitküpe in violett schwarzen Nuancen färbt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 7,9 Teile 2,5-Di-p-toluidi,dobenzochinon, suspendiert in 120 Teilen Nitrobenzol, wer den bei 5 mit 7,8 Teilen Schwefeldichlorid (S Ch) versetzt, in drei Stunden bis auf 100 bis<B>110'</B> erwärmt und drei Stunden bei die ser Temperatur unter Rühren belassen. Nach dem Erkalten wird filtriert, gewaschen und getro-eknet.
