Description
Zusatzpateiit zum Hauptpatent Nr. 94229. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines für den Chroindruck auf Baumwolle besonders geeigneten Azofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man durch<B>Kup-</B> peln von diazotierter 1-Oxy-2-,amino-4-benzol- karbonsäure mit Resoreylsjure einen Azo- fürbstoff erhält, welcher bei dem Chrom druck auf Baumwolle rotbraune Töne von sehr guter #Seifen- und Lichtechtheit erzeugt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> <B>153</B> Teile 1-Oxy-2-amino-4-benzolkarbon- säure werden in<B>150</B> Teilen Salzsäure gelöst und mit<B>69</B> Teilen Natriumnitrit; bei<B>0</B> bis <B>5 ' C</B> diazotiert. Die teilweise in gelben Kri stallen ausgeschiedene Diazoverbindung lässt man in eine möglichst künzentrierte Lösung von 154 Teilen ss-Resorcylsäure und<B>300</B> Tei len Soda einfliessen. Unmittelbar darauf<B>fügt</B> man 400 Teile-<B>30</B> '/oige Natronlauge zu, wo durch die Kupplung beschleunigt wird.
Der uebildete Farbstoff wird durch Neutralisa- t> tion mit Mineralsäuren ausgefällt. Nach dem Abfiltrieren wird derselbe gepresst und ge- troelmet.
Der neue Farbstoff löst sich in heissem Wasser mit gelbroter Farbe, welche naüli Zu satz von Soda. nach rotbraun umschlägt, in konzentriert-er Schwefelsäure löst er sieh mit rotbrauner Farbe. Bei dem Chromdruck auf Baumwolle erzeugt er volle robbraune Töne von sehr guter Was-eli-, Koch- -und Chlor echtheit und guter Lichtechtheit. Er färbt vVolleaus saurem Bade in gelbbraunen, nach- ühromiert in vorzüglich walk- und potting ZD ee,'hten Bordeaux Tönen.

It has been found that by coupling diazotized 1-oxy-2-, amino-4-benzene-carboxylic acid with resoreyl acid, an azo dye is obtained which, when the chrome is printed on cotton, produces red-brown tones very good # soap and lightfastness.
<I> Example: </I> <B> 153 </B> parts of 1-oxy-2-amino-4-benzenecarboxylic acid are dissolved in <B> 150 </B> parts of hydrochloric acid and mixed with <B> 69 </B> parts of sodium nitrite; diazotized at <B> 0 </B> to <B> 5 'C </B>. The diazo compound, which is partially separated out in yellow crystals, is allowed to flow into a solution of 154 parts of β-resorcylic acid and <B> 300 </B> parts of soda, which is as concentrated as possible. Immediately afterwards <B> </B> one adds </B> 400 parts <B> 30 </B> '/ o sodium hydroxide solution, which is accelerated by the clutch.
The dye formed is precipitated by neutralization with mineral acids. After being filtered off, it is pressed and drained.
The new dye dissolves in hot water with a yellow-red color, which is usually the addition of soda. turns red-brown, in concentrated sulfuric acid it dissolves with red-brown color. With the chrome print on cotton, it produces full rob-brown tones of very good was-eli, cooking and chlorine fastness and good lightfastness. It colors the acidic bath in yellow-brown, later chromated in excellent walk and potting ZD ee, 'hten Bordeaux tones.
