  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines für den Chromdruck auf Baumwolle     besonders     geeigneten     Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man durch Kup  peln von     diazotiertem        4-Nitro-2-amino-l-oxy-          benzol    mit     Resorcylsäure    einen     Azofarbstoff     erhält, welcher beim Chromdruck auf Baum  volle satte rotbraune Töne von sehr guter  Wasch- und Seifenechtheit und von guter  Chlor- und Lichtechtheit erzeugt.

           Beispiel:       Die     Diazoverbindung    aus 15,4 Teilen     4-          Nitro-2-a.mino-l-o-xybenzol    wird unter Rüh  ren bei tiefer Temperatur in ein Gemisch von  15,4 Teilen     Resorcylsäure,    5,3 Teilen Soda,  15 Teilen Magnesia. und 40 Teilen Wasser  eingetragen. Nach beendigter Kombination  wird der gebildete Farbstoff durch Mineral  säure gefällt, filtriert, in     Sodalösung    gelöst  und     ausgesalzen.     



  Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkles  Pulver. Er löst sich in Wasser mit rot  brauner Farbe, welche auf Zusatz von Soda  etwas röter wird. In konzentrierter Schwefel  säure ist er mit gelbbrauner Färbe löslich.    Im Chromdruck auf Baumwolle erzeugt er  satte rotbraune Töne von sehr guter     Wasch-          und    Seifen-, und von guter Chlor- und Licht  echtheit.

It has been found that by coupling diazotized 4-nitro-2-amino-1-oxybenzene with resorcylic acid, an azo dye is obtained which, when printed on chrome, is full, deep red-brown tones of very good wash and soap fastness and good chlorine - and produces lightfastness.

           Example: The diazo compound from 15.4 parts of 4-nitro-2-a.mino-l-o-xybenzene is stirred into a mixture of 15.4 parts of resorcylic acid, 5.3 parts of soda, 15 parts of magnesia at low temperature. and 40 parts of water entered. After the combination is complete, the dye formed is precipitated with mineral acid, filtered, dissolved in soda solution and salted out.



  The new dye forms a dark powder. It dissolves in water with a red-brown color, which becomes a little redder when soda is added. In concentrated sulfuric acid it is soluble with a yellow-brown color. In the chrome print on cotton, it creates rich red-brown tones of very good detergency and soap, and of good chlorine and light fastness.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines für den Chromdruck auf Baumwolle besonders geeig neten Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeich net, dass diazotiertes 4-Nitro-2-amino-l-oxy- benzol mit R2sorcylsäure gekuppelt wird. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkles Pulver. Er löst sich in Wasser mit rotbrauner Farbe, welche auf Zusatz von Soda etwas röter wird. In konzentrierter Schwefelsäure ist er mit gelbbrauner Farbe löslich. Im Chromdruck auf Baumwolle erzeugt er satte rotbraune Töne von sehr guter Wasch- und Seifen-, und von guter Chlor- und Licht echtheit.
